thanks I guess I don't to post what I used it's pretty clear but any ways it's a 2596 and the switches are rat shack and so is the box. The 2596 and volt meter got from e-bay .

Looks good, I always think it's a good idea to use some sort of catch cup though. Keeps things a bit neater and also adds some much needed support to a very weak area. Especially with all the extra leverage these days with tanks and jumbo cartos.

Hey Willy thanks but this one didn't turn out as good as I'd hope but on my 1st one I did use a catch cup .having problems up loading picture .

I never put a catch cup on any of my Puck mods that use those type of boxes. I've used a Puck for months with no problems; always epoxied the around the connector inside the box. I put a catch cup / 'beauty ring' on my ACDC mod just for show.

Nice first effort Been There, also, and not a super big deal except for batt life...from what I can tell by the pics try and put your "fire" switch so that it intercept the v on the 2596's input and not the output...there'll be a very small sort of "stand-by" current flowing as soon as you put the batts in if you don't, like I said, not a deal breaker though, good job
