Hello, i'm from Brasil, i'm new to the forum and I will soon be benefited by the e-cigs:vapor:.
I quit smoking a while ago, but I have had some relapses, especially when I go out for fun. I'll start smoking e-cigs without nicotine, only by smoking "ritual", which I like very much...

So, i met the e-cig buy the film "The Tourist" and soon as possible i was searchin in the internet about it. Which brings me to my idea...

The first thing we do when we want to research something on the Internet is to type in google. Mostly in the first search page always has a link to the wikipedia.

As you can see, for example, if you type "electronic cigarette" in google, guess what the first link?

Electronic cigarette - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Code:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_cigarette
Yes, so my idea is to WE, people of the forum that love smoke e-cigs, make a better and better complete presentation of e-cigs on wikipedia. Making this "place" the postcard of e-cigs for interested people. Off course with neutrality and good references, showing the pros and cons of e-cigs vs normal cigarettes.

I'm already writing for the brasilian wikipedia and i could help translating what i've written...

Hope that this idea help people around the world stop smoking normal cigarettes and switch to e-cigs, that does not cause cancer of lung, bladder, among others... And, i hope that with more people aware of the benefits of switching to e-cig, we be able to put more pressure in the liberation of e-cigs around the world, including here in Brasil.

Thanks for your attention! Go Go Go!!!

I thought about this...

Leaving politics out of this...

Obama is a smoker. What if a supplier or even an eCig lobbyist (if there are any) gave Obama an eCig and he made the switch? That would definitely give the eCig industry to clout to overcome many obstacles!

Supposedly Obama's quit, at least according to recent interviews with his wife. Also, I believe he's been given several e-cigarettes on multiple occasions but there's no indication that he used them. Which makes sense -- if you were Obama, would you vape something that was just randomly given to you? I certainly wouldn't.

Unlike the tobacco industry, which consists of a handful of very large players with political clout, the e-cig industry is mostly grassroots at this point. The few larger companies that do exist (Blu) I'd rather not represent me.
