Hi my name is Shelley and my husband's name is William. We are new to vaping. We have been vaping for about 5 weeks now. We love it however we are still smoking 3-4 cigarettes a day. We had tried the disposables at first to see if we would like it and we did. Well we felt a little dizzy and I got a red rash we believe from the PG. So when we ordered our tornado-t and got our juice we got 25PG/75 VG but the throat hit is not strong. I think we might be able to get 50/50 and it would be ok. The throat hit is what I really am looking for. Anyone have any ideas on this? I think the disposable ones have a ton of PG in them. I am just looking for a stronger throat hit. We love our E-cigs though:)

Welcome to ECF, most will say that throat hit is a function of the nic level of the juice, although some will say that Cinnamon or heavy mint type flavors fit the bill. Really it is just about experimenting with what works for you. ECBlends is a good place to order sample sizes (5ml) for 2.50 and they have a ton of flavors to try. Others will be by this post with more and is some cases better advice!!

Thank you everyone. I stepped away for awhile and am impressed how many wonderful people have already tried to help me:) I really appreciate it. I have been reading for a few weeks and finally decided to join. I find the people on here are so friendly and full of great information. I am using at the moment 24 mg as that was what was recommended when I was buying my kit. So I use 24 mg, 25 PG/75 VG. I have don't know anything about the different kinds of Ecigs and the voltages and low resistance, high resistance, lol I have been reading but the more I read the more confused I get. I also read that the Provati is the best to get. It looks nice but it sure is expensive. The people that do have it is it really worth it? I don't have the money right now but maybe in the future. I am just trying to get that throat hit I love. I already get the vapor so I am good with that.

I thought the same about the Provari and I find that it is worth it. It is sturdy, well made, reliable, consistent, and flexible. That being said it is expensive, but worth it IMO. For the time being though a KGO/Riva type batt, which is similiar to ego in form, will get you 3.7 volts and that combined with a LR (low resistance) atomizer/cartomizer/ clearomizer is definitely a step up from the cig-a-likes. I started using an ego 650mah (3.4volts) batt's with 1.5ohm DCT set-up and it performed well, but when I got my provari mini, which I initially used my existing DCT 1.5ohm since it had juice in it already, I found that the higher voltage (even the modest increase to 3.7volts) made a noticeable difference in my vaping experience. So for a lo cost upgrade I would look into a 3.7 volt mod's like the megalodon or the KGO/Riva type batt's and combine that with LR cartos/atties/clearo's/or what have you. HTH

Yes, the Provari is hands down the BEST on the market and is worth it in every sense, but there are other devices that are very comparable to the Provari, like the Buzz Pro! The difference between the two is the Buzz Pro is a user regulated device without all the fancy digital electronic display and uses stacked batteries! You will find out that there will be a difference of opinion on a stacked battery PV vs. a single battery PV(like the Provari), but it is a matter of PREFERENCE and the owner of the device! I actually just ordered a Buzz Pro and from reading the specs and OUTSTANDING reviews on it, it is IMO one of the TOP 3 VV PV's on the Vaping market today! My advice to you is continue to RESEARCH-RESEARCH-RESEARCH because you will find the PV that BEST fits you! GOOD LUCK and Happy Vaping!

Welcome and congrats on switching over to ecigs! If your in the nashville area pure-smoker.com has some great juice and you can pick up in store if your close enough. I too looked hard at the provari but I decided to go with a vvpv at first from notcigs.com i wanted a feeder with vv and being able to drip on the go. buzz makes fantastic mods and has great customer support which is what turned me on to their stuff. Since then I got an infinity pro from them and it's performing fantastically. I got the blemished chrome for $89.00 (hardly anything blemished about it) regular ones are $99. I got my wife a blue one to get her into vaping and she is loving it so far. I've been vaping since February 1st it's been awesome so far. Vv makes vaping More enjoyable, every juice and person has a sweet spot and I found vv makes quitting that much easier. Good luck with whichever mod you get just keep reading and reading!
