Me and my father are both wanting a VG, just very slightly tobacco flavored ejuice.

we don't want a strong throat hit, not any nasty flavoring or sweetening. Minimal flavor, minimal throat hit, high nicotine , 1.8 to 2.4.

just wasted $40 on 2 different johnson creek's flavors that we both thought were way to strong.

just looking for the closest thing to winstn or marbro ( mis spelled on purpose, don't want any flack from brand name infringement ) . i think we both realize, we wont find the perfect cig substitute. we both would rather lean towards no taste, rather than a fake taste.

we like the V2 red flavor, but hate the PG throat hit.

any suggestions?

thanks

Simplest fix would be to buy some 1.8 to 2.4 unflavored nic in 100% VG, you can add it to any flavor you have or purchase that is too strongly flavored. You may even find the unflavored is what you're looking for to vape.
i was wondering about that. if the "something in your hand habit", the fake smoke, and the real nicotine rush would be enough. it is really confusing trying to google all this stuff.

Unflavored is a good place to start...that's what I use all day. Nicotine has a "flavor" so you just might find it tastes something like a cigarette.

Really, the throat hit is coming from the nicotine. Higher nicotine will have more throat hit. You might find it irritating, but it's very dehydrating- and that's what you might be experiencing. Drink lots of water when you vape.

huh...never read that anywhere yet. everything i was reading before said that PG was the cause of the throat hit. have any idea at what nicotine level the hit gets rough? so would like a 18ish % be like a "light" cig, and 24ish % like a full flavor cig?

Agree with above - you should get some unflavored nic juice, maybe 100% VG or maybe something like 80/20, just so it's not TOO thick to vape. Then you get some flavorings, at like $2/bottle, and add 5% flavor as a start - then try it with less or more to taste.

I'd recommend perhaps getting TGA "Double RY4" - it's a nice, mild flavor (I mix it at 50/50 PG/VG, 15% flavor, and it's a regular vape for me).

MtBakerVapor.com will have what your looking for. 555 is good. You can order to your liking, 100% VG, no extra flavor shots ect.

Really, the throat hit is from PG. Yes you will taste the nicotine in high doses but i don't think that's what Allen is talking about. A lot of people are PG sensitive like me. I love 100% VG. Plus you get less flavor from VG juices. Double plus imo

so order the 555 with " max vg% ", then on extra flavoring shot, order "0" , right?

It sounds like getting into DIY would be best for you. Just go here and grab some 100% VG nic juice base at whatever strength you feel like - 1mg-24mg Bases - Nicotine Bases - Unflavored Bases

Then add just a touch of whatever flavors sound like they might suit you. You may want to start with USA Red mix from Hangsen, although there are tons of flavors to suit anyone's needs or desires. Red USA Mix Flavoring by Hangsen

DIY will save you a ton of money and probably be closer to what you are looking for than what any juice vendor may offer. The fact that you can customize the flavor strength to suit your personal needs would be a real boon for you. Best of luck to you and your Dad!

You won't get the nicotine rush with vapor like you do with cigarettes. Lots of info here about nicotine absorption.

Was just a suggestion. I'm pretty damn new to vaping and i still have a analog or two a day. I heard great things about MtBaker like there prices, there flavors, delivery speed, ease of ordering ect. So Ive been ordering from them for about the last month now and so far they haven't let me down.

You're going to find that people like to blame everything on PG. Don't quite no why but anytime anyone has an issue, someone jumps in and blames PG. I don't know if there's any basis for this except antidotal evidence.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hen-quitting-tobacco-changing-ecigarette.html

Throat is is from nicotine. PG may enhance the throat hit. Some say VG mutes the vape so TH is somewhat diminished.

You don't want to lower your nicotine too much when starting out because or you might not be able to quit smoking. The longer you vape, most people naturally reduce nicotine strength without really trying.
