Hello. I am new here. I couldn't find an "introduce yourself" thread.

I am 28 and live in the Seattle area. My husband is deployed, and I have one girl aged 2. I just stopped smoking. I was smoking 3-5 cigarettes daily, when I smoked them, but didn't every SINGLE day. Started really smoking analogs roughly a year ago, even though I really had my first one sometime in the first half of 2007. I used Blus and vaped occasionally. For vaping, I used 24-36mg but preferred the latter nicotine levels. Recently I tapered down to 11mg and hope to eventually get down to 1mg or even 0 nic.

I smoked because I have depression, don't handle steess well, especially during deployment, and smoking also got rid of my migrainea. My favourite way to smoke was mid morning on my porch with a Marlboro Black menthol 100 with a cup of coffee with milk and artificial sweetener. Now I take a few minutes in the morning with coffee while chain vaping 11mg of a grape flavoured ejuice.

Even though I was only smoking, maximum, of 3-5 analogs a day, I was deeply afraid of it turning into a 1+ pack daily habit.

I am glad I got down from the 36mg to the 11mg ejuice.

Just today I got my first adjustable-voltage batteey for my eGo and a new tank with a fresh wick. The old tank and wick were at least a year old. Pretty gross.

I am really enjoying making the big vape clouds.

Welcome Xcro--
thank you for your and your husbands service.

Your husband is deployed and you have a 2-year old to look after so you have every right to be a little depressed.

I have had to deal with depression from PTSD for more than 40 years--Please don't stress yourself out over a few cigarretes.

If you find nicotene helps with the migranes remember you can get it thru vaping and if you have any questions at all there are a bunch of knowledgeable people-just ask

to ecf xCroWx. Nice to meet you and so glad that you are here. Believe it or not, I think ecf and some of the wonderful people here, help with depression and other issues because this is more of a family rather than just a forum. I can imagine how hard it is to have your husband be away (a huge thanks for his service) and raise a small child.

Congrats on the vaping. That is awesome and I also get a lot of stress-relief from vaping. There are some awfully special people around ecf so please make yourself at home and have fun.

The thought of a wick lasting a year is pretty gross btw.
