Hey all -

Recently started vaping as a way to stay off of cigarettes during a stressful time. Only been at it a few months but am already into rebuildables and fixing to start DIY-ing my own juice.

Looking forward to lurking and learning... and occasionally cracking a joke LOL

Cheers,
Tim

Welcome to the forum! If you are only recently into rebuildables and DIY, you might want to check out the threads in the general vaping forum on the new FDA deeming regulations that are about to take effect and the threads on on stocking up. The FDA is pretty much shutting everything down, and many of us are building up our supplies, particularly mods, attys, and DIY supplies before the cut off in September. Good luck. :)

Welcome and glad you joined.
It's kind of difficult to start out DIY'g when you are still trying out new equipment and establishing your taste favorites. One shot flavors are for those interested in mixing their own and want to start out simple. One shot flavors (OS/Flavor Blends) are premixed flavors that are only designed to be used on their own and mixed with a base of Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin and Nicotine (at least one/two/all of the three).Say you use three flavors at 4%, 3% and 2.5%. The one-shot/concentrate is just an entire bottle of those three flavors in the correct ratio. One shot mixing is supposed to be close to the flavor promoted on the bottle. These mixes may allow some adjustment of the strength (percentage) of the mix. OS Mixing can be a good introductory to DIY. One shots and flavor blends are simply added per directions to the mixer's desired mixing base, Shake and Vape (SnV) or steep as directed.

Agreed - it is a little intimidating, mainly because I know what flavors I want to go for but haven’t had any experience with blending flavors to get there.

I’ve been scanning a couple of the DIY recipe sites and checking out the subreddit so that at least gives me a starting point. I may give the one shots a try too since my goal flavors aren’t anything complex, at least not on the surface.

I wish more of the top juice companies would publish recipes. I don’t see that happening anytime soon though LOL

Not really, all you would get is their idea of what good taste is.

Sure... but it would give me a chance to try things first without having to make them myself... and if it was something I already liked, I could replicate it properly. [emoji846]
