USPS has misplaced my LP TRA Grand. My tracking info this morning said "out for delivery" and then early this evening it said "undeliverable as addressed". So what I'm thinking is that my package got sent out on the wrong route and probably made it's way back to the post office after that carrier finished for the day. I did call our local USPS and they did look for it, and of course didn't find it, but they did say it's bound to show up. Has anyone ever seen this particular reason for a package not being delivered? The lady at USPS said there are many circumstances that would cause a carrier to use that particular reason for not delivering a package but that she had no idea with my particular circumstance. Not happy.

Not too long ago I tracked my package which I knew was in town. But the next time I tracked it, it said something about the address and then 'Returned to sender'. I was less than happy. I called the P.O. and the man there checked, didn't find it and said it was probably out for delivery. He also told me that someone probably just mis-scanned it so it came up with the wrong message. He was very helpful and said he'd try to track it down for me. Well, it ended up being delivered that very day. So, hopefully somebody just made a stupid mistake and yours will turn up tomorrow. Let us know! :)

Were you home when the carrier came by? If so, the carrier may have just been in too big a rush (or lazy) to come up, ring the bell and get a signature.

My carriers are squared away. Today I signed for my cyclone caps from England around lunch. He showed back up around 4:15 to deliver my battery wraps from fasttech after finishing up his route. Said he knew I had another small package in the car the first time but couldn't find it.

I wouldn't lose any sleep. It will surely show up tomorrow but I'd be watching/stalking when the carrier comes if it were me.

Thanks guys and gals! I'm sure it's here in town somewhere and will get to me but it won't be tomorrow. I have to work and hubs will be out of town so no one will be here to sign for it. Bleck! Crappy day. I'm about to raise hell if this becomes a long drawn out process. On Monday I found a notice in my mail box that a signature confirmation package for hubs couldn't be delivered because no one was home. I was sitting right here at home and there was never a knock on the door. If he had knocked on our door our GSD would have gone nuts barking as he does whenever someone comes to our door. I checked our mailbox at 4 and it was empty. I checked again at 5 and there was the notice along with our other mail. Twice in one week? I don't think so. :glare:

I had this happen around the Fourth of July.. I had communicated back and forth with the P.O. on it. Still not exactly sure why the package wasn't delivered the first time, but it ended up getting delivered 4 days later... Woulda have been the next day if it had not been for the holiday. It was super frustrating though because I had paid extra to get the package before the holiday!

Mail dude just parked his truck at the end of my block. Hubs and son are hanging out in the driveway working on my sons truck and I'm in the house watching the front door like a hawk. Our GSD is parked on the floor in front of the front door snoozing. There is no way this mail dude is going to escape unnoticed.
