Well, I pulled the trigger and picked up a REO, Odin and Router DT. Now I need my AW battery and I'll be good to go [emoji106]

Trying to decide between button and SL or regular. Suggestions??

Also, is the Odin suppose to hang off a bit. Doesn't seem to fit flush on the base. My OCD, blah [emoji6]

Yes, the Odin hangs off a bit. You won't be able to slide the door up, actually - just down - most likely anyway. I can slide the door up on one of mine, and not the other. Weird. And trust me, it's worth the overhang - such a terrific little atty. Divine.

Congrats on your new setup. Welcome to the 'ville :)

edit - I suggest button top batteries. I think it's a personal pref though. I don't like the throw of flat tops personally. Plus I hear they're more prone to arcing if you subohm.

I like the way yours looks with the SL and back button, which is odd, because I haven't bought an SL, thinking I didn't like the look. LOL.
But I also only have ONE 22 mm atty - because I don't like that overhang. I have like 6 or 8 of the atomizers that fit on an LP deck (and that's about all there is)... But if you want dual coils and big airflow, you're probably going to have that look.

Enjoy!!

Fine, fine setup you have there - very classic look. :toast:

Myself, I'd go for the SL door and the shiny button, but that's just me.

As for a cool build, what you suggested is a good starting point. 28g is a good wire to experiment with and 7/8 wraps at that diameter should net you out to about .6ohms with duals. The Odin will throw vapor at that resistance just fine, but not be the boiler that it can be lower down. You prolly wouldn't like the heat up time if you went much higher and used more wire, and the heat starts to be noticeable around .45ohms.

Air flow will, of course, be a factor as well. Wide open, the Odin with a router is quite airy (I find), and this will cool the vape down.

Thank you...

I was thinking of playing with 29 or 30 gauge and more wraps to get higher with hopefully less heat time. One of my friends was talking about that but never did a build with those specs and not sure what it would measure at.
