probably less nic, interesting idea.

I'm sure it was the precursor to the idea of vaping. It was a step in the right direction (I guess?), but the cigs contained higher levels of CO (which no one has any clue what the long term affects of that is), and actually turned into a pretty serious addiction equivalent to smoking. I would argue that I was tempted to smoke more often and take deeper drags from this. The heat from it is like a mild version of smoking crack on your teeth as it slowly eats away at your teeth (another good reason to get away from it). I'm not sure if the hit to the lungs was as extreme as a standard analog, but I can tell you that if I smoked too many, my chest would be hurting bad the next day. My addiction was up to a minimum of 1 pack per day, and regardless of the original health claims, I was sure these things were going to kill me. I started developing what would seem like an allergy to them. My sinuses would hurt, my ears started feeling like they were plugged all the time, and my head seemed kind of cloudy a lot. It was like having a mild cold that never went away. Luckily, I don't seem to have this affect with vaping.

They still made my car smell, my clothes smell, and everything else, but just quite a bit less than a standard analog, and the smell would go away in about a day or so, unlike an analog (assuming you emptied your car of any of the spent casings).

This was actually why I was surprised... I figured that the nicotine would be much lower than the standard analog, but perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I have been smoking these: Eclipse (cigarette) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for the last 5 years? <<before anyone gets excited about those, they still make your lungs feel like hell, and they may smell "better" than a standard cig, but they still smell like monkey ... (and just as addictive).

Likely too many other factors to take into account.

I smoked two packs a day of NON filtered Luckies until I switched to E-Cigs. Right from the get-go I started with 24mg thinking I needed that much to match up.

I started to notice that I was feeling ill multiple times a week since I began using E-Cigs last December.

Once I switched to 18mg I tend not to have those problems.

I think the issue is that many people tend to puff away throughout the entire day. Far more often than they would normally smoke analogs. So perhaps its the sheer amount of nicotine in your daily intake that's doing it?

The headaches were getting nasty as well, lasting two days straight. I finally did some research and found that many of the issues I was having had been common to Nicotine overdose.

Side note : When I still smoked I would buy a pack of those Eclipse cigs every so often. For the last two weeks I had been trying to remember the name of them.

Tada..

Thanks.

I think that will be key in the future, and a really good idea to drop the dosage as I suspect the problems I am experiencing are somewhat related to this. My purpose for going to vaping is not necessarily to continue a drug addiction, but to step down, and eventually just vape for the sake of vaping (0 nic). I feel like it is enjoyable regardless of the amount of nicotine, so we'll see how that goes.

And NP on the help with the name ;)
