It sounds delicious, and something that I'd like, so I'll keep it. If not, I can resell it locally. No big deal. Lol. I remember my first order from mt baker. Ordered way too high of density. Says on their website that there is no changes since they process so quickly. Sold it to a vape buddy before it even got here.

Is there any other budget vendors I should know about?

On a second note, in looking for some kind of compartment or stand to hold/display my gear and juice. Don't like keeping it just thrown in a small plastic tote. I have about 3 eGo batteries and 3 mods, a few tanks, and about 6-10 bottles of juice and need a better way to store them.

Another vote for The Vapor Room as a reasonably priced alternative.

:)

And if you prefer "dark" flavors (I do myself) then I'd recommend TVR Gingerbread hands down. I've been vaping for a while now, and to this day it's still a favorite for carto tanks, or anything else that mutes flavor.

And it just so happens that Gingerbread is this week's Weekender Special - 5 bucks for 15ml. Hard to do better than that for a good, solid juice.

15ml Weekender

How long did you let your gingerbread steep before vaping? Is it good when not steeped?

I think TVR recommends 6 days, which seems reasonable - especially for the "darker" flavors. I certainly wouldn't go less than four - but it's not one of those things that's supposed to be held over till 2045, either.

It's definitely vapable unsteeped. What will happen with that one is with no steeping you will get GINGER! It may taste a bit like raw ginger at first even. As time passes the ginger mellows out and all the background 'bread' and other flavor notes come forward and balance out. It's kind of interesting to see what it tastes like on day one, day two etc. and experience the transition. After a week nothing changes much.

I don't think TVR uses any alcohol based flavorings. (At least I haven't picked up on that in any I've tried.) My point is you won't get that nasty, alcohol/perfume thing off TVR liquids unsteeped. You can try 'em right away.

ETA: Should have mentioned this long ago. Resist the temptation to add flavor shots before you try any flavor first. TVR flavor intensity is higher than the likes of Mt. Baker and for most people - unless your tastes buds are absolutely dead - added flavor with TVR stuff is overkill.

Hay! I thought you were on a budget!

I am! Haha! A lot lower budget than what I want to be on. Wifey gets angry when I spend too much on vape stuff. Though, I talked her into both purchases. She'd rather have me vaping than spending on analogs.

I was only at about $30 for 66 total ml from TVR, with the new customer goodness, free samples, weekender special and promo code.

mt baker has a really good RY4 it is carmel vanilla and tabacco it's great.

Is it syrupy smelling/tasting? I've only had two brands of ry4. A local B&M which was way too syrupy, and Hangsen, which was good for the first bottle and then tasted like garbage the last two bottles.

That's the problem with RY4 et al - it's such a... confusing vape. 100's of recipes - all of them different:

As for what happened to/with your Dekang experience? Mystery, international intrigue, and maybe a jail sentence:

Get the five 6 ml bottle sampler pack from The Vapor Room for 20 bucks. I can pretty much guarantee comparing TVR Clove or Pumpkin Spice will blow the MBV versions right out of the water. Try their Cinnamon Danish Swirl too if you like Pumpkin Spice. You get to pick anything from the flavor lineup for their samplers. Not sure where you want to go with "dark" - you may want to try their RY4. I know they have a caramel something in the lineup too.

First time customers get a free 15 ml bottle. You get to pick your choice on that too.

Every order gets a free 3 ml sample. You can put in flavor requests for that as well, but being a freebie you don't always get what you ask for. You always get something.

Shipping is $4.00

Use code THANKYOU to get 10% off your order.

That will get you 48 ml's of good stuff, covering 7 different flavors, for only $22.00 - including shipping. It's a great deal on a first time customer purchase.

The Vapor Room is one of the next steps up beyond Mt. Baker. You will notice a difference. Nothing wrong with MBV, TVR is just a notch better.
:2c:

That sounds like a good deal to me. I'm going to try it out.

"But honey, these are Holiday flavors. Pumpkin Spice, Gingerbread - Thanksgiving and Christmas coming you know. You don't wanna see me deprived, do ya?" :D

Thass pretty good. If you decide you like TVR you can always work the weekly Flavor specials. Chances are if you like a "class" of TVR flavors - like the bakery line - you won't go wrong with anything else in that same class. But first things first - you have to try what you already ordered.

In the really big RY4 roundup thread you'll see the Mt Baker review. It has a maple syrup taste to it, which I also noticed, and doesn't taste like an RY4 IMHO. If you don't like Hangsen that's probably not a good start though, they are among the best and probably my third favorite of those I've tried. Heavenly Tobacco from HHV and the ECBlend RY4 are my two favorites, I also like Tribeca from Halo.

If you look in that roundup thread you can find flavor profiles you desire.

Just a word of "caution" - cause I know you got burned recently. Of course there is no universal liquids vendor that everyone likes. But as a first time customer, working the deal as described at TVR gives you a lot of stuff to try in a pretty big sample deal for a very small cash outlay. For some of us with "PG issues" having that 100 VG base option is really important too and this is one of the few places you can select your base liquid anywhere in between 100 PG and 100 VG.

I'm trying to get my deal from TVR but it's asking me to checkout without offering me any of the free stuff you mentioned. OK, wait, I think I found it, you have to type in what you want in the comment box. OK never mind, I figured it out, that's a LOT of juice for $22, right on.

Don't worry I have a glass mini tank coming soon so I'll be careful with any iffy flavors. I ended up ordering

Pomegranate
Classic Bubblegum
Classic Cola
Hypnotic
Cranberry
Orange

50/50 ratio

The only one I have experience with in that group is the Classic Cola - received as a free sample. It tastes like the real thing - like Royal Crown Cola or Pepsi. It doesn't have that extra "pepper" kick to it that you would equate with Coke.

Hypnotic is one that a lot of people like too. And I've seen good mentioned about the Cranberry, Pomegranate & Bubblegum.
