I have tried a lot of flavours that are 0% and all I can taste is the flavour when I really want the throat hit, I really don't want to buy any more liquids from different vendors for them to arrive and lack the throat hit just so I would end up chucking them away.
If you could post a link of a site that you know does 0% nicotine e liquids with a good throat hit that would be brilliant.

Thanks

Nicotine is responsible for the throat hit. Your experience should prove otherwise to those who claim it's the PG.
VG mutes throat hit from the nicotine and makes a smoother vapor. So, use low VG juice and that will help a little.

There is a vendor, whose name I can't recall, that sells a flavoring specifically just to add throat hit.
Someone may remember and speak up.

Alternately, you could try adding about 5% or so of Pure Grain Alcohol, like Everclear to the juice you already have. It can't hurt. If you can't find PGA where you live, use the strongest cheap vodka you can find. 190 proof or more, if possible.

High PG juice with alcohol added is probably as close as you're going to get with 0 nic, unless you find that "throat hit" flavor or someone makes it specifically to do what you want.

I had an interesting experience with throat hit, recently. I did a liquid extraction from some Camel Robust Snus, and tried the result at 10% in a mix. I've since dumped it down the drain, because it reminded me of cough syrup flavor...

The interesting thing was that the one packet that I tried as directed, and the extract that I made, both gave a 'mouth tingle' and 'throat hit' that I haven't experienced before. After doing a bit more research on snus, I found that all have tobacco and salt, and nearly all have some sort of fruit flavor. Many reviewers also mention a peppery taste that complements the salty taste, though.

I'm not sure if they are tasting the nicotine (which tastes peppery to me,) or if there is a small amount of pepper extract added. The nic content doesn't seem high enough to me to account for it, so I think it's an additive.

I think I do remember seeing a pepper additive on one of the vendor's sites, but don't remember which one. I do know of this, from FlavorArts:

Fumo elettronico :: FLASH E liquido - Flavourart. La sartoria degli aromi

I'm not sure what they put in it, though.

You are correct, I thought it was the nicotine before but I got told that it was the PG that does the throat hit and so I believed.
I will just put up with the plain flavours without the throat hit.
Thanks

PG does NOT provide throat hit. It lets more throat hit through than VG does.

90% of throat hit is nicotine strength and warmth of the vapor from higher voltage batteries. No nicotine = no throat hit.

You can put things in the eliquid such as pepper and PGA to provide a throat irritation but it won't be like the throat hit that comes from nicotine.
