First off, when ever I buy coil heads for my MT3S I always get the 1.8ohm coil heads so I'm pretty used to them and I know how they perform. Well, I ran out of 1.8ohm heads awhile back so I took my moms 5 pack of 2.2ohm heads (she quit vaping a long time ago) and started using them. I must say, 2.2ohm heads suck, they gunk up so fast compared to the 1.8ohm heads. I can go 2-3 weeks on one 1.8ohm head before having to clean it, with the 2.2ohm heads, they gunk up within a day maybe 2 so the performance drastically gets reduced. I vape the same amount, use the same battery, same voltage, same liquid so non of that is the problem, anyone know why this happens?

Well if your useing the same voltage that might be the problem bc with the 2.2 its not going to produce as much wattage as the same voltage would produce with a 1.8... idk if that would cause that drastic of a differance though, im still pretty new to vaping myself so mybe someone else will have a better answer for you
the wattage is whats going to determine what temp your vaping your juice at

I my self use a 2.2 coil ohm on a mini protank 2 with my volatage anywhere between 3.5 to 4.3 on a vision spinner 1300 and havnt noticed any problem... what voltage you running at?

I think you're right. I still use an older top coil and have both 1.8s and 2.2s. The 1.8s are fine at 4v and a little lower, but the 2.2s are better around 4.4 and maybe higher, depending on the juice - like the high vg stuff I like.

I'm using a v2 kgo, so 3.7 volts?
