Grab some good LR Atty's and a nice drip tip either Delrin or Pyrex which I prefer and this will make you complete also you could try some of the new Ego-T Atty's. God luck and welcome aboard the ECF train, theres a great group of people here that will always help you when in need.

I have to agree with mwa102464, dripping is the way to go. I started with a 510 using carts then moved to dripping on the eGo. I have never gone back to carts since and can't see it happening in the future.

I could have written the EXACT same thing except I started with the eGo. Dripping FTW!

Grats!! Did you buy eliquid?? You will need it so if you didn't then order some now, even if it's Chinese 100% PG. Then as soon as you try the nicotine level(s) you got and know what is best, order more eliquid from a good juice vendor - I recommend PG/VG blends because then you will know you are not buying the Chinese stuff. I like anything within 10% of 70pg/30vg. PG is thin and lets through the most harshness/irritation of nicotine so the most TH, almost lets flavor through well and has less visible vapor. VG is thick and smooths the harshness/irritation of nicotine, smooths the TH, dulls the flavor somewhat and adds more visible more persistent vapor.

And consider buying some cartomizers to try - simple ones at first i.e. soft-cap stuffing-type cartos. I would recommend Boge soft-cap cartos, both standard and low resistance (the LR ones run hotter) - simple, no inner seal. And if a stuffing-type carto is hot on your lips, you can use a plastic or delrin drip tip in it as a mouthpiece. You may need to leave the cone off the Ego or use a 510 extender to lift the carto above the cone (standard carto is about the same length as an atty and replaces both the atty and cart). LiteCigUSA.net should have both types of Boge as well as some drip tips. If you fill a carto well and give it time for all of the stuffing to be damp, then keep it damp by adding liquid before it gets dry, you can get 4-7 days or more out of a carto. And some are successful in washing them to get more life. You can't drip while driving or doing anything else that requires your attention.

dripping is not for everyone. My wife drips- that is the only way she vapes. Me- not a fan of dripping even though I started off dripping and got her dripping. Now I prefer cartos, and find dripping to be messy and less taste (my wife thinks the same thing of cartos).

You should definitely try every avenue- except carts. Don't waste your time with carts.

Oh. Why don't people like carts?

They run out of juice so fast that you might as well drip. At least with dripping you don't have to deal with the hassle of refilling the cart. When I first got mine and it had carts, I had to refill them after 5-10 drags. Which made it a big PITA. And don't believe the companies that say their carts are the equivalent to a pack of smokes and will last days- that's a lie.

Yeah I like dripping myself. Delrin drip tip, some juice, ready to go. Just put a few drops on your atty, throw a empty cart on, and vape away. I've heard some nightmares about the tanks. But, you will love the ego, I know I do. I'm waiting for Liberty Flights to carry the 1300mah battery, then I'll spurge again.

I have both a drip tip and carts for my Totally Wicked Tornado. I don't think the carts are that horrible. They are great if you don't have time to drip, or you don't want to carry bottles with you when you are out-and-about. Its nice to have your carts prefilled and just switch them out when you need to. One cart would last me around an hour of heavy vaping. When I am at work I can get a cart to last me all day since I don't have very much time to use it. When I am at home or somewhere convenient for me to drip at, then its drip tip all the way. Both have their pros and cons. I would suggest trying each option until you find what works best for you. We are all different and enjoy different things. Its important to remember not to give up because something is not working right for you. Try other things until it feels right.

Welcome.

I have an eGo too and like it a lot. Just got my brother one and he seems pleased. I am like 7seals, I do both carts and drip. Although I think I will be trying the tank system soon. I fill the carts for when I am going out and about and drip at night when i am home on the computer and have time. Once you get it you can play around with it and see what you like best.
