I'm just coming off using subox mini kit to now the tc mod with ni200 coil
I have not yet picked up a Temp Control mod. I watch lots of reviews on everything vape related. Am looking at the Snowwolf, Sigelei 75 watt and the IPV D2, this week. Next week there will be more to look at.

One of these days I'll make up my mind.:)

5 Clicks on power button keep clicking to mode set "Mode" press up or down till "Joule". "Set Temp" (gonna have to play with this to you find how warm u like it), make sure "Coil select" is on ni200. Lock the coil resistance before you start using the device/coil for the 1st time up+down buttons "Lock Resistance". .5 @40w's is maybe in the 50j 450-520temp range. Just think of joules as the gas/ramp time and the temp as the speed limit/warmth.

My main reason is I think that kanthal vapes better..
Agreed and Nichrome 80. If your under the 45'ish watt range and have a hard time tasting/seeing less vapor when your tank/rda is drying up, then temp control can be a thing for you. I can build a -ya thats a pretty good vape- on TC but never anything like the warm/hot'ish vape i like.
