I got this stupid eye infection I've had for awhile and I'm also right in the middle of building a couple of mods one of which has been going on for awhile. Anyway I can't see good enough to do it and it's driving me nuts. I've already messed up a couple of parts. I'm very excited about one of them and want to finish it. But I guess thats the way it is. Sorry, I'm just venting. Everyone have a nice evening.

So it's the product of the eye infection that makes this a liquid discussion?

sorry couldn't resist.

I feel for ya. I've had a darn sinus infection for 3 weeks now and every other day it seems like it is about to die off and then flares back up the next.
Sorry I missed that too. Maybe someone will move it for me.

Well I'm bout blind in one eye from glaucoma, but I'm pretty close to ya (carnation) I've been wanting to learn mod building. Between us we have two good eyes ;)

Oh yea, and my father , an electronics tech, taught me to solder well.

If it is pink eye it is extremely contagious so wash hands and doorknobs etc to prevent re-infection. It spreads like wild fire.
No, not pink eye. This is some kind of viral infection and the doc has me putting steroids in it plus some other thing. I woke up in the middle of the night and I could see but this morning it's back where it was.

I know a trick that may help ya ;)

heat some water up, almost boiling, then drop in a tea bag and let it turn the water brown..

then take the tea bag and wait til its just warm (not scalding lol) and place on eye for 15 minutes.

after your eye should feel ALOT better....

:) Let me know if it works for ya! (did for me before - old family remedy)

There's a joke in there waiting to be let out. :D

Anywho, I'd venture the heat alone would help alleviate swelling of the underlying area, and coupling it with moisture would help against dryness as well.

Depends really on if your eye is swelling or if there's something with your eye innards causing the issue. Hot towel on the head/over the eyes helps me out quite a bit whenever my left eye goes wonky... and it does quite often, blurs up, hurts, causes headaches, etc. I just lie down and toss a hot towel on it for 10-15 mins and it really helps get rid of the pain and annoyance. Well, that and some asprin. :)

Hey Reverendg, Maybe we can get him out here on some reason and kidnap him, then bring out the chains.LOL

Sounds good to me, been about 4 years since I've been back and saw my folks, but they don't do a lot of traveling, so I think it would be hard to get him out here. Gotta start playing the lottery (my long term retirement plan :) 0 then I could send a lear jet for them.
