And all of them being sold out... Never able to purchase.. With tons of sites having all these pictures to drool over... Only to find the big ole Sold Out Forever gif at the end... *sighs* I guess I'll just go back to my evic and vape quietly until I can find out the secret to finding all the cool stuff online.. Or who's ultimate VIP list I need to be on to get such cool chit..

I know exactly what you mean. Exactly. Any mod you've seen is "usually" available. But you would have to order from overseas. I personally haven't purchased several I liked just for that reason. Problem is finding them here. Here I said that and have no idea where you are.
Surprisingly... I found looking up vape stores within a reasonable distance from me and calling them up and asking what mods they have in the store has sometimes astounded me. Found real Galileo's , Maz Mods, and others I assumed "no one" carried over in my neck of the woods. Worth a try. Mind you it's like 1 in 10 stores may have something out of the ordinary.

I have a theory about this actually a couple. First one is price if all these mods were in stock in sufficient numbers it would affect the price. Meaning vendors would have to discount if their inventory wasn't moving fast enough. Second is some being new mods vendors only order so many to see how well they sell. What I am hoping to see is possibly more vendors from China selling single pieces for low prices instead of the big mark up we find here. I know folks are trying to make a living but in some cases triple the price they paid is a bit much.

Yeah, the out of stock thing gets old, have tried several new vendors though, looking for those elusive in stock items that I want. And the Chinese New Year thing is getting old, correct me if I am wrong, but don't they have a New Year every year, not like vendors should have been taken by surprise with this event.

As much a I like some of the vendors I have dealt with, I may just stick with the new ones I found who actually have something to sell.

this is a problem we all encounter when we want to step up to a hand made hybrid or mechanical mod...the truth is plainly this
the rarity is by design and thats why they can get 250-500 a pop. I finally was able to buy a Zenisis SS standard after months of waiting and checking on the sites...finally a guy who knew i was looking for one PM'd me when they went up and i got one...less than 2 minutes after i pressed the confirm order button they were sold out again... so be patient and dont stress.
getting a ihybrid is very hard to do unless you get on the list and are on your computer when they go up and then you only have about 60 seconds to get your order confirmed before they are gone...

Most good hybrids ( mods that have an RBA made onto them ) are hand made here in america the Chi you is made in china i think

I was advised to get verified and look in the classifieds here on ECF but i have seen the prices and they charge almost twice retail on the ones i wanted.

I know what it is like to want one and not find one to buy and i even made a post called "luxery mods" you can go back and find it and see the discussions we had about this very issue.

Best of luck to you and if i see any go up i will pm you.

At $500 a pop for a hybrid i might as well go back to smoking.

Luckily, i do not enjoy buying luxury mods. For me the joy is in picking up little pieces and parts that you can put together for an awesome setup. Like when you find a tank that is the exact color and size of your current mod or a drip tip that fits perfectly. You get more fun cheaper that way.

If your still wanting a pretty sweet mechanical mod i would check out either the rapture mod from vaporbeast or the kamry k10 from either gotvapes or hoosiervapes. I have the k100 mod that i use for stealth vaping with an 18350 and a fatty v1 rebuildable and it's amazing in my opinion! I also have the rapture mod i mentioned earlier on it's way it looks pretty sweet, it's also a telescoping mod like the k100 that i think is all stainless steel and has a GG type switch. As of now gotvapes just restocked on the k100's and vaporbeast has i think 10 more rapture's in stock so if from all i've said seems like it would interest you i would definitely go check those mods out. Happy Vaping!!

i just got started with the whole vv/vw thing... and tbh, as far as mech mods go, i'm actually really interested in the ELA mod. i've been falling in love with the caravela, chi-you's, etc. but they're so expensive and hard to find.

after looking into the ELA, i think it's a pretty nice buy. it's on pre order right now for 189 and it's lifetime warranty! it looks pretty cool too... not as fancy looking as caravela's or other mods out there but the specs look really impressive.

right now i can't exactly afford an ELA (hey i'm still a student LOL) but i really think that will be my first mech mod. i'll still be dreaming of caravela+vela latina tho...

This is the same thing I do. I love tinkering with stuff like that. It does add up, but not anything like $500 a pop. It seems a bit more financially manageable that way, too.
