You also might check to see if the whole in the bottom of the cone isn't clogged. There is a tiny hole that air goes threw in the center of the cone, you should be able to see light threw it. With out a head in it, that is. It's that first piece on the left that has the hole, and that's normally inside the 2nd piece. I've had them get clogged before and stuck a sewing needle threw it to clear it.

Here's a picture of the 2 pieces I take out of the tank in the picture under the cone pieces. Right of the tank.

Sometimes liquid gets to the battery connections and they dry a residue on them. I use an q-tip with alcohol and clean all the connectors (threads too while I'm at it). It seems to make a fairly large difference if it's been a while.

I do this (without the IPA - although I do that weekly) every time I charge a battery - and hit the charger post too.
