I'm tired of the inconsistancies with my carto tanks...

My carto tanks consist of a 5 ml j-tank, 3 ml j-tank, udct, and an ibtanked xl. I usually use boges, and a decent carto punch that isn't smoktech(has the extended middle part to hug the carto better idk). Usually put to holes on either side blah blah. It'll be great for a bit and then taste like crap, tastes like air almost. Sometimes it'll be half way through the tank sometimes itll take a day. I just don't get it.


Do you guys ever have these problems? What is your usual set up when putting in a new carto. What punch do you use. And does anyone have a good setup for bobas bounty? And what kind of cartos ect. Hopefully I can compare and figure out what I'm doing

For Bobas I use a Boge 3.0 with 2 punches in my carto tank on a provari. Tanks are tanks, so if you are having draw issues, it might be the cartos you are using.

You know how on a kanger ect, you take off wicks for thicker juice? And smoktek/smoketech idk cartos have less filler material? Think those would wick bobas better? I'm gettin some in next week but only a couple

I always use smoketech cartos in my tanks. I've tried a few others but find I have minimal issues with smoktech

I have only used the Boge xl sr pre-punched with 2 1mm holes and have had zero issue using them exclusively for over 4 months. I have found, for me, if I initially fill them with a small syringe then I have no issues. Each one lasts for 2 to 3 weeks. The darker and thicker the juice the sooner they need to be replaced.

when did you buy them? boge seems to have changed to more material and packed tighter... go to the boge site for what they have to say. Also, they do not recommend going higher than a particular voltage. I use ego passthroughs and no tank that go to 4.2v max and never get a dry hit. I read some boge with tank users, since the newer boges, are punching 3 holes.

Yeah when I got the ibtanked the cartos didn't come in yet and it is xl, and I had one boge 3.0 ohm with the laser drilled hole from electronicstix. It was doin alright then it just sucked an hour in and i was gettin all pissy because I wasn't home. So I got home and I tried another hole with my punch and It's doin alright just not as good as I have had
