Imeo,

Whilst my Js will probably be the only crack flutes I use until my vaping days are over, I wish there was an AFC ring without the ‘rings of Saturn’ effect; an AFC ring that adjusts tangentially instead of axially so it could completely fill the gap between the bottom of the Ithaka and the shoulder of the collector tank and also be flush with the external diameter of the mod.

I am normally a function over form guy, but we don’t get to choose what bugs us and this one won’t quit with me to the point that I am about to go to a local shop to get something turned for me - then I’ll have to butcher it with a hand drill to make the hole, knurl it with my teeth and all the other boys and girls will laugh at my heathen AFC...:)

not sure what you guys are talking about ??

the AC on JustGG is a thin , twin oring'ed sliding ring that is not the same diameter as the tube itself

what has been proposed here is a not a slim ring , but a full sized peice same height as the AC collector tank and you open the AC by spining the tube NOT pushing a small ring up and down

so ..................... please explain what use an oring is ??

Exactly - though I think maybe there would need to an o-ring recessed almost flush inside the proposed part to provide a bit of friction so it stays put once you spin it round to your desired setting - would depend on the machining tolerances I guess...
