Hi Guys, I'm kinda new to the world of mods and the GG. I've been vaping regular e-cigs for a few months now and thanks to them, I've been off analogs for 23 days now. I think I'm ready to "graduate" to a mod and from the research I've done, I really think the GG is what I am looking for. I'm not very fimilar with all the GG models available, but know for sure that I want one that is compatible with the AFS. I've been refilling my carts, and have become pretty good at it, but if I can eliminate that step using the AFS, I'd be in heaven. Based on all your experiences, can you give me your advise, or direct me to the correct thread?

Thanks!

I am dense I think. They are Imeo 901 attys? Or just normal 901s with the laser hole?
He currently has HV 801 Imeoatties for sale.
He expects to have regular 901 AFS-hole atties in a few days.

You're not dense, it's just a little confusing sometimes. :)

I recommend a Transformer - it gives you so many different battery options and you will need to purchase an AFS and AFS atties too. :)
Imeo updates this thread with availability:

You might have to be quick though - he's only got 10 trans left at the moment by the looks of it. :)

Hi Guys, ........... but if I can eliminate that step using the AFS, I'd be in heaven. Based on all your experiences, can you give me your advise, or direct me to the correct thread?

You have come to the right place and done your homework very well... The GG is by far the best mod on this planet. You can spend less for something cheaper but the GG really is not going to fail you. No solder to break and no wires to add resistance. Just a battery and a button. That simple. So spend a few more dollars and get one that you will be happy with for years to come. You will not need to look any further. I have a drawer full of stuff that has been collecting dust since I got my GG.. no lie...

And the AFS really is all it's cracked up to be. I have been testing it for a few weeks now and don't want to spend another day dripping again. And those carts are crap in my opinion.... You can fiddle with them if you like but the AFS WILL end that time consuming task that's more of a pain in the .... than it is worth.... So PM imeo and get the ball rolling... Order up a GG Trans and the AFS... You will be in vaping heaven as you assume.... take my word for it.... And this forum has many people willing to help you along the way... You can PM me if you want more details. Anytime...

hey post number 1111.. ... do I win a prize...

Vapnaway, thanks for the info. I'm sold. In your opinion, what is the best atomizer to use with the AFS on a GG Transformer? Or, can it accept different types of Attys?
Hiya George,
I know you asked Vapn specifically but as he's not here at the moment I thought I'd answer.

You can currently only use specially modified 901 (actually RN4075) atomisers with the AFS and they are only available from Imeo at the moment.

Thanks Lisa. Is it typical to own several AFS's because of changing juice flavors? Seeing how these hold a ton of juice, it's probably not a good idea, or convienent, to empty a half-full AFS just to refill with another juice flavor.

How about carrying these around with you? No problems with leakage?
It's an extremely new product - so no-one has really had a chance to develop what you might call, typical usage - however, there's really no need to own several unless you like to swap out your juice a LOT.

Just use a syringe to extract the old juice - wipe it and start again.

Leaking - I can't tell you about the final product cos I haven't got one yet - just the first prototype. I believe you should be OK against leaks though.

if you want to change your liquid, you can put juice again in its bottle and fill AFS with another kind of juice georgea, its very easy with new AFS now:):)

about leakage through the atty's hole, its the same as the leackage you get from an overfilled atomizer. If you learn how to use AFS, then you will have no problem at all:)

Thanks Imeo. In one of your videos, I saw where you were able to push the AFS against the GG to cover the atty hole so you were able to get more juice in the atty to prevent the burning taste. Would this also be good to do when carrying the GG in your pocket to prevent leaking since the atty hole will be covered? I hope these questions are not stupid, just trying to get a better understanding on what I can expect. I'm very excited about getting my first GG Trans.

I dont see any stupid question here georgia!!

You cant do that with new AFS because it has a channel that allows the atty to always breath. The first AFS I made was with a covered hole but it wouldnt work in all GG because not all GG had the cartomizer option. So I made an AFS for all my customers. But keep in mind that if you overfill the atty, then you will have a leakage from the center pole of the atty even if the atty's hole is covered. This is an weak point on all atties and it can be show up if you overfill your atomizer even without AFS on it.:):)
