How did you clean your coil? Just water? And what do you mean by dry heating? Did you dry burn it?

Priming means either dripping a a couple of drops of e-liquid directly onto the coil or taking a few puffs without activating battery to force some juice into the vaporizing chamber. Or just waiting a while for gravity to do its work.

Yes dry heating and no I did not prime it.

You should prime always--to avoid a nasty dry hit. And you should have rinsed the coils after dry burning to remove any ash from the coil/wick. Did you clean and replace the flavor wick?

Having said that, I'm still surprised at your reaction to a dry hit. Most of us just cringe, but heart pain and nausea? Did you check the resistance of your atty after the cleaning? Voltage of your battery? Something is not right here, but I'm not sure what it is...

No I don't know how to replace the flavor wick. I just go buy a new coil like a newbie. But I felt as if I was going to pass out and my throat still hurts and it was immediate pain. Could it be from inhaling burning cotton or something?

Franlinni, i'm a med student, this is not normal. go see a doctor.

OK, let's start from the beginning--what tank do you have (name and brand) and how do you clean and dry burn it? Can you see the coil when it's glowing?

How long have you been vaping? Have you ever had any problems with fresh coils?

Well it's happened to me twice from cleaning the coil so it has to have something to do with that. And I still feel cold hit sweat slightly. But I have a ecto bdc. The coil says 1.8 with an omega sign (3.0-5v). I just rinse water through the coil dry with cloth then dry burn at 4.5 for 5 seconds 2-3 times then rinse again and dry heat again. Then I put back in my well and I hit it and yes I got the horrible taste, did it one more time and still horrible taste. Then the symptoms kicked in

1) How are you feeling now? Are you any better? If not, you may need to see a doctor.

2) Stop dry-burning your coils for now. And don't use that coil you just cleaned. At least for now.
