Improving my Honey Pearry Clone

I'm trying to perfect my Honey Pearry clone. I'm not dead set on replicating TheVaporChef (I've yet to even try the real deal), just taking the flavor combination, and creating the best vape I can make.

Here is what I am currently using:

  • Pear (TPA) 8.0%
  • HoneyDew (FruitExpress) 4.5%
  • Sweet Strawberry (Capella) 2.0%
  • Ethyl Maltol 10% in PG(TFA) 1.0%

If anyone has any reccomendations on the best Pear, HoneyDew, and Strawberry or has a HP clone of their own I would love to see what others are using/doing.

Also, as far as balancing the flavor out or adding more complexity, is there anything I am missing? One day, I'll get around to ordering some HP from The Chef himself, but for now, my clone vapes pretty well.

My advice is to be happy with your mix and not try to clone. Taste is so subjective that how a juice taste to others is often a very poor indication of how it will taste to you. Go to Mt. Baker Vapor site and read the customer's reviews of thier ejuices. Some have only 10 or so reviews ,some have over one hundred, many have 5 stars rating but still have some reviews which say tatse terible, could not even give it away so poured it down the sink. I have tried few flavors based on great reviews thatI did not enjoy at all while a few with a lot of negative reviews I really like.

Please remember that many are new to vaping and do not have a clue about airing out (breathing ) or steeping ejuices much less that different delivery methods can make a major difference.

Very True!!!! If the folks who made those negative reviews were new and they saved their juice to try down the road they may find themselves ordering more because it was not the juice it was them and their lack of experience and/or taste buds. I wonder how many who do like it down the road go back and post another review explaining this. Not many (if any) I bet. Very sad! :(
