Hi Guys,

I recently purchased one of the below ecigs, and I was just wondering which part of the ecig affects the quality of the flavour the most? Is it the "Clearomizer" as that contains the juice, is it the battery which makes sure your juice doesn't burn or is it the atomiser which I assume just lets you inhale the burnt fumes...?

Also does anyone in the UK have any recommendations for E Cig flavour brands or cheap deals and also any decent clearomizers?

Sorry for all the questions and appreciate any help!!

edit : So I can't show the link but here's the specs :

Clearmist
900mAh eGO-T e-cigarette battery with CE4 Optimizer, Clear Mist usb charger & 1 FREE 10ml Clear Mist e-liquid…

In my opinion, the wick material influences the quality of the taste the most. All prebuilt atomizers tend to use silica. Most people who use rebuildable atomizers use organic cotton or cellucotton (rayon). Silica tends to mute the flavor of the e-liquid, but it won't actually make it taste "bad."

The second big influence on taste is the position of the coil/heating element. The best location is at the bottom. In clearomizers, this setup is called BCC (bottom coil clearomizer). The CE4, if I remember correctly, is a top coil clearomizer, with long wick tails that dangle in the e-liquid. Those have to be tilted often to saturate the wick and coil.

Hey Ligan. If you're thinking about getting a Mini Protank 3 I can say I'm really enjoying the ones I have. The biggest complaint I see on this site about them is they don't have adjustable airflow, but I find the draw on them to be satisfactory. You can also get adjustable airflow bases for them ordered separately. Just be warned, they really are a "mini" tank. I got three of them and keep each one filled with a different liquid, that way I can change flavors often. They use the same coils as the full size Protank 3s, and I think the Aerotanks too. Nice glass tanks so you can get the "tank cracker" liquids without fear.

Welcome to ECF!

While the Protank 3 mini works great, when used with an Ego type battery a Protank 2 mini might be a better choice. They are a single coil that are usually in the 2 ohm (coil resistance) range. The Protank 3 fullsize and mini are dual coil and are usually 1.5 ohms which will drain your battery quicker.

1. Mini Protank II w/single coil instead of Mini PT3.

2. Buy better juice.

3. Lower nicotine content of juice for better flavor.

4. Learn to rebuild your protank heads with cotton.

5. Get a battery or mod with adjustable wattage/voltage to find the sweet spot for your juice/atomizer.

Just to add to this I would also suggest the emow or emow mega and rebuild the coils to vertical coils here is the thread I wrote about it

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ed-kanger-dual-coil-single-vertical-coil.html

As for battery I use an eLeaf IStick is a good mod and juice I usually buy from LTECigs

LT Ecigs

I found when I started the ego battery and ce4 clearomiser are just not up to the job of providing a satisfying vape.

I have learnt loads through this forum and it is great place to ask questions.

Welcome to ECF and happy vaping

Wow, can't believe all the welcomes!! Thanks guys it actually means a lot : ), battery life isn't all that important for me to be honest, I charge it up every night and I don't sit there caning it all day during the day as I work so its just on "smoke breaks".

Will have a look into the single / dual coil debate and see which would be better for me
