Hi all, I'm new to the site, and to the world of vape. My first thoughts are how awesome this forum is, and huge. Second thoughts are, wish I did research and found this forum before I made my first impulse purchase of GreenSmoke products.
My first observation with GS products was how the batts don't hold a charge(typical for this batt style). The carts don't last but one or two vape sessions before rank taste takes over. Also, the GS is much more costly than many others.
Even with all the negatives, I'm a vape head for life. This is great. I've cut down from a pack of analogs a day to only 4-5 a day. I'm sure that when I get the proper setup that will please me, I'll move away from analogs for good. Off to shop.

Impulsive buying was what got most of us started. Then, like you, we started doing more extensive research about this wonderful new device we had found. I just loaned my cheap starter set out to a co-worker for the weekend in hopes that he will enjoy it as much as I did. Then, start his search for that piece of equipment and juices that will suit his needs. Sometimes we need to find out what is we don't like before we are able to find what's right for us.

Good luck and enjoy shopping!

Welcome K5 and now that you are here you will get help with the learning curve. Don't worry about impulse buy.... look at it this way, it got you introduced to vaping and you found your way here. I did the same thing on a unit that carts cost $15 for 5 and I was killing 3/day. 75 days into it without an analog and I use eGo with LR atty's and LR cartomizers. I do not even crave an analog anymore. Good luck

Yep, typical way of starting out. This is the place to get on track though so your more than halfway to your goal. Don't get frustrated if you still have the occassional analogue as it's very common as you will find on the forum. I primarily use the 510 and the eGO and have started to look at other mods as well. There will be some learning curves but most of the common things are here or have happened to someone here so you have a large support base. Good Luck and Welcome!

Thanks for the support. I just knew that impulse buying is a norm for many people. Impulse buying is just another one of my bad habbits.lol
I'm thinking about the eGO for my hardware. Now for the software.
I find that trying to replace my analogs flavor/nicotine level and cigarette feel is not necessarily the goal. After vaping the tobacco flavor, I find them kinda repulsive flavor. I have some vanilla that I love. I think getting the flavors you love will keep the analogs away.
Any advise on what carts work best with the Greensmoke batts would be helpful if anybody has any experience. I refuse to buy cartridges from GS anymore, they don't last but two, three, maybe four vape sessions before rank taste takes over.
GS will tell you that a cart is equal to a pack and a batt last for many hours...BS to that.

Welcome, K5! I bought GS on impulse, too. I'm not completely unhappy, but not totally satisfied either for the same reasons you've mentioned. The battery life leaves a lot to be desired and the "tobacco" flavor tasted more like burnt cardboard. You can buy replacement batteries and blank carts for a fraction of the cost at LeCig. I'm not paying $50 for a new battery or $13 for a pack of 5 prefilled carts. If your carts have a rank taste and smell, that means they've been burnt and you need to toss them. If you keep them wet, you can probably refill them a few times before they become worn out and die. To the best of my knowledge, you can only use cartomizers with GS.
