Hey All....when using an IMR 14500 Batt (no nipple) in my BB, it will not work with the positive end up on the switch contact. It will work when inserting the batt backwards with the negative side up. Is it safe to use it that way? Does anyone know why it wont work the normal way? Any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks much

Just get some magnet spacers. when I used the IMR 14500 in my BB, it took 3 spacers(comes out to 3mm) for it to make a good solid contact. You can find them at several vendors, I got them from Bruce at COV: 6mm Battery Spacers - Note there are only 2 magnets in each bag, so you will have to order at least two bags to get enough spacers.
