Nice review Smokie!!! Been using them for some time, they are great!

B.T.W: The AW's are also Panasonic cells

Ps: be careful with magnets, I had shortened one of my mods as it slid to the side and fired continuously, made the battery very very hot and melted some of the plastic insulator on my switch.

Thanks for that tip, now the Panasonic battery's are made in Japan, and thought the AW's were made in China.

this also happened to me...don't know what caused it,but i had the battry first in the lavatube and it fired all night melting my cannon 306 driptip.thought it was the button on the lavatube that got stck but then a few days later had the battery in a roughstack and the same thing happened fire continuously got real hot thought the thing was gonna explode in my hand...do u have more info on what caused this battery to do this?

Did you use a rare earth magnet on top or bottom to make it longer?

The only way that could happen if a circuit is completed, if using a magnet battery spacer, and it shifted may of caused it, if in fact you were using one?
