So, got my rant out of the way somewhere else in the forum, figured I'd bring up an eliquid or two I tried.
Now, I've been hopping back and forth between e liquids, stress of a move coming up in the next few days has had me chain vaping something fierce, so have been losing flavor on a lot.
Recently, I had gone to a local vape shop called Vape Escape here in the cypress, ca area. Super nice, laid back, and they actually wanted me to try samples, they had tanks loaded everywhere and wanted people to give them an attempt.
I'm not big on sample trying, too much shenanigans can ensue if someone isn't looking, but it was refreshing to see.
While there, I figured I'd buy a few things, since they helped me out, I wanted to show some support, so I bought 3 e liquids, going to talk about 2 of them.
I'm going to start with the second one I tried, the Bossmoor Rootbeer by Calimist they carry. Let me start out by saying I bought it on a whim, thought it would be meh, but it was buy 3 get 20% off the entire purchase, and that made it about 4 bucks per 30ml, seemed like a good deal to me, so I gave it a go.
This stuff is like I went back in time, when my parents would drive me to the bank, and they'd give out the lollipops at the teller booth at the drive thru. It tastes exactly like a root beer dum dum, down to that funny tickle it gives at the back of your mouth. I swear to you they just liquefied it and put it in a bottle. I've enjoyed it very much!
I give it a 4/5, and the reason it isn't a perfect is because it is that candy root beer. This is NOT a bad thing, but I was indeed expecting/hoping for more of an actual root beer. This is still definitely worth trying if you can get a hold of it.
Now...to the first one I tried. Before I begin, let me tell you that before vaping, I smoked pipe tobacco and cigars. For my cigars I smoked the tattiana's. They aren't super high shelf, but they definitely are not bottom of the barrel, good quality, smooth flavor, and I chose the rum ones, just had that beautiful taste.
This flavor I'm going to talk about is called Barstowgie. It is labelled as being a rich tobacco flavor with hints of vanilla.
Ever had that friend, that offers you to try something, and you spend two days trying to wash the taste out of your mouth? Yep, that's this. It's like someone found a cigar at the bottom of the bin on a clearance rack at a place going out of business. It just doesn't taste appealing at all. I gave it half a tank, and I just could not get a grasp on the flavor, there was nothing that made me want to vape it. Habit had me pick up the provari for another vape and on inhale I gagged....I gagged on vapor!!! The vanilla hint may be there, but I can't get past the bad cigar flavor long enough to find it, or maybe it's there and the two flavors in this e liquid just don't sit well.
I had let it steep for almost 2 weeks (took me that long to finish my previous e liquid), and still nothing happy in this flavor. Personally, I expect a flavor to get better after a period of steeping, but it should NOT be nasty off the bat, if that's the case, the makers should be letting it steep before sending it off to sell. Just my opinion on the matter. This gets a 1/5, and it's only getting a 1 because the smell of the eliquid in the bottle is actually kind of nice. Which makes me want to rant...HOOOOOOW can you have something smell so good, taste so nasty?! Come ooooon, that's like someone telling you this girl can suck a golf ball through 12 feet of hose and you find out it's your sister, it's just wrong on so many levels!!!! (Not judging of course, whatever floats your boat)
To wrap up, it's 1 for 2 right now on calimist. Sadly, after I give a try to this third one (who I can't remember the name of, it's steeping in my humidor currently while I enjoy the root beer), I probably won't get anymore of it, as I'm moving up to Washington state in the next 12 days! But hopefully I can find some more awesome flavors!

I was about to hit post, but decided to do two more reviews because I forgot about them!
The first one I got from LjEsmokes, and I THINK it's made by them, but I could be wrong, if so sorry to the maker! It's called Green Apple.
Ever vaped something that tasted so much like what it said, you tried to chew it? No? Well, someone has besides me damnit! Anywho, this stuff tastes EXACTLY like what it's called, 100% so, it's like a green apple is in your mouth. It has that tart bite, with an ever so small hint of sweet, but the tart sticks out quite a bit. Now I personally prefer sweeter vapes, but this one is dead on like it says, not candy like in anyway, just a good ole fashioned granny smith apple, happiness in a tank right here folks.
I give it a 4/5, definitely needs to be tasted, definitely needs a try. Why not a 5 you ask? Well, this is my opinion, what I think of something, and 5s are something I save for whatever can make me groan in happy euphoria. Tart doesn't do that, but definitely worth grabbing, if even just to try!
Number 2 was also from LjEsmokes, and it's made by FlavorZ, called Heaven's Nectar. It's a coconut/pear combination, and it is quite tasty. It has that sweet, almost milky flavor of coconut, and <insert your adjective> flavor of a pear. No, I can't describe a pear, because it tastes like a pear, and never in my life can I describe it. xD
The two flavors don't fight with each other, but actually blend quite well, almost makes me want to try a smoothie in this combination. The sweetness is there, but it's not blatant like sugar was dumped in, very soft and gentle, I guess it would be similar to eating a bowl of cheerios sweet, you can taste that hint of sweetness from the milk, but it's not overpowering at all (if you get this reference, brownie points to you!).
This one gets a 3/5 though. While it's delicious, because the taste is subtle, it takes very little time for your taste buds (well, at least my taste buds), to develop a tolerance against it and I start losing the flavor, having to switch out. This one is a great vape, but not something you can vape for long before the flavor goes kaput sadly.
Alright, that's all I got for now! I still have...mmm....3 flavors in my humidor I've yet to try? And one I have to give another attempt with, ruined it with bad coils on my protank, sad days too, because I think it was probably the best e liquid I had ever had!

All the eliquids I buy I try to give at least a full tanks worth, some don't allow that to happen (see above review), but most of them do. I use 6mg eliquid, and I usually am very picky with my choices, it's my money I'm spending, and I'm not a big fan of going out on a limb to try something unless the price is ok.
