I got a hold of her son on Facebook to share the link to this page, so he can see the condolences. I got this reply and wanted to share with you all, as I don't think he can post here.

"No one has sent me that link yet. It means so much to hear your condolences. She is missed more than the world as she was wonderful in every sense of the word (as you apparently have learned to know). When they say the brightest flames burn out the quickest I now know what they mean."

He is so very right.. I am terrible at expressing any emotions that I can't use sarcasm, so I won't continue, but my heart's been torn since finding out. I come back to this page and shed more tears. :(Thought I should share his words..

Thanks Melly. I was going to get that to him today, but got caught up in things here.

It's no problem.. I just hope he checks back to see the messages that seem to be added on.. I am glad he is able to see the shining light that his mother is, and how she touched our hearts long distance.

For me, there is one poem that always brings me comfort in the face of loss. It's helped me through several unfortunate and untimely passings.. And I can't help not to share it here -

Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other
That we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Without the ghost of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolute unbroken continuity
What is death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner
All is well.
Nothing is past; nothing is lost
One brief moment and all will be as it was before
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!
