How many months? I believe smok has a 90 day warranty support at the max. You should probably buy US though, as the month to 6 week wait right now from China (Chinese NY) well, your warranty starts from the day it is sold.

There is no vendor that I know of that will guarantee the longevity of a particular unit past 90 days though. Smok is not known for longevity in general, compared to some other manufacturers, so just know you'll either get lucky with a decent unit (probably, I mean, I have to assume that less mods have manufacturing defects than those that do) or get unlucky with something that won't last you a year at the outside. I imagine you'd have to be unlucky, but when searching for a lower cost, higher volume Chinese manufacturer, well, that's kind of the chance you take.

Best of luck,

Anna

Vapor Authority is fine to do business with. Vapor DNA has the rainbow G-Priv 2 Luxe Kit in stock for $79.99 and they are fine too. You have to understand that people are trying to warn you off Smok for a reason. I owned and used Aliens for a while and never had trouble with them, except for the one I murdered when I knocked it off a table onto our flagstone patio. Smok puts out mods more often than any other company and QC has been iffy in too many cases. If you want to entertain a higher quality mod with similar features to the G-Priv, they exist. If you are sold on the G-Priv, buy it, enjoy it, and I wish you all the best.

Welcome to ECF. Stick around and share your experiences.

Hey, I’m looking to buy the G-Priv 2 Luxe edition in rainbow, I’m just wondering if anyone can tell me of any good suppliers that are reliable, good with shipping, and good on price. Must be brand new with no issues months after use please.
Welcome and glad you joined.
As Bad suggested, some Smok models are more prone to brake down. You really have to google "Smok [name of kit] problems".
As to vendors, as Classwife said, find one who is close by, one you could drive to, and/or you have called them up on the phone just to see if someone will answer.
If all else fails, could choose a ECF vendor:

I've bought all of my vape gear online, and only just recently had a product arrive DOA. I ordered from MVS (my vapor store) and they took good care of me. They paid for return shipping and sent me a new device.

I'm not sure about online vendors covering factory warranty though. Many of them probably just cover DOA items, or like 2 weeks from delivery. You would probably have to deal with manufacturer after a good time out. Not sure.

I've got a few SMOK devices, no problems (yet) with mine, but just prefer other brands these days. As mentioned SMOK doesn't have the greatest reputation and seems to have a new mod out every time you look. I guess I just feel there are better devices out there for the money. Been using a Procolor for several months now and no negatives, but I have similar priced and lower priced mods I like better.

Lots of good choices out there these days.

Just to clarify many of the useful responses you've gotten so far, any reliable vendor will only sell a brand new item if presented as such. So that's not a worry, at least with any of the US vendors listed as well as the larger reliable Chinese dealers as well. However, whether it is Smok or another mass consumer manufacturer no one can assure you no issues after months of use. The best you can do is look for long warranty policies.

This makes me laugh because in Canada the Smok warranty is effectively 0 days.

You only get whatever the vendor offers (usually 1 to 4 weeks). Then they have to mark it off as a loss because they don't get warranty support either.

Effectively because there's no way to use the warranty? Granted a company can make warranty service hard, but it should be illegal to state a warranty is supplied but without a mechanism to provide it, unless they specify the old "not valid in.......countries ". Sort of like buying grey goods meant for sale in other locations.

That said the only mods that I'm aware of that come with a year or longer warranty are Dicodes. DNA boards also come with a one year warranty.
