G-Priv SMOK TECH

Hello everyone,
I am new to the site/forum.
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but i did a search with no luck.
I have a G priv that I turned into a brick last night. I was trying to do the firmware update and I obviously did something wrong because my update never finished and now I have no function out of my G Priv.
I know the smok website has the step by step update procedures but i think i need to install the original software/firmware before I can attempt to update again. I even went out and bought a used R150 to get me by but I somehow turned that into a brick too.
Someone please help me.
I have emailed both smok and madvapes for support but id like to see if anyone has had this issue before.

when it comes to proprietary software, you're going to have to wait on smok.

I just starting using the G-PRIV a week ago. Sorry I don't have any information on how to fix your problem. I won't be attempting any updates. I'm sure someone will chime in with the 411 on how to resolve the problem.
