I over-vaped one night and ended up with symptoms very similar to pneumonia. There was no doubt what caused it. It lasted about a week during which I was unable to even think about smoking or vaping. I figured I had irreparably harmed myself and that was it. I improved however and I gradually slipped a very light vape into my regime and am now happily consuming big clouds of whatever is available. It seems like it happened to someone else. I guess I dodged a bullet!

I'd also like to know anyones opinion on the sanitary nature of an ecig. I know from my experience I carried my logic ecig in my pocket everywhere, left it in my car at times etc...Like can bacteria or a virus literally crawl from the mouthpiece down the barrel and settle/grow???
Being that both Pg (propylene glycol) and Vg (vegetable glycerin) are both bacteriostatic (inhibit the growth of bacteria) in nature, and the fact that nicotine itself is a bacteriostatic substance, I seriously doubt that our e-cigs or e-liquids could be a source for the growth of bacteria or viruses.

Propylene glycol is chemical agent used in many asthma inhalers. Vegetable glycerin is used in a wide variety of products, including the use as a natural sweetner in food products and in sanitation mixtures in hospitals. Liquid nicotine is used (in much higher concentrations than what we use in our e-liquid) as a natural insecticide on some plants to kill destructive bugs.

Ya man, been back at work since Monday. I swear, without having my ecig/tobacco habit I'm bored as ..... I used to enjoy mindlessly siting and vaping. I'll probably give vaping a shot on Monday.

Good Deal.

Keep getting your Rest. And Eat Well.

Pneumonia is Trippy. And can seem to be Completely Gone. Only to Flare Up again.

Now, when you say flare up again you mean in the immediate time following and infection, right? I mean I shouldn't expect it to flair back up say a month after being healed...Also, I think it's interesting how I got so sick a week after quitting tobacco for good. I read how immediately following tobacco cessation our lungs are briefly more vulnerable to infection. This as a result of raw tissue being exposed for the first time since being originally coated with tar. Food for thought.

I mean BOTH.

I know people that the Drug Regime only Knocked it Down, but didn't kill it. So it came Roaring back. And I have known people that Felt Great for a couple of weeks. So they Went back to Doing what they Used to do and then then they started to slide back down again.

Most People Underestimate just how Serious Pneumonia Can be. And Many Don't Understand how a Drug Regime can Fall.

Think of it this was, Say a Drug Regime kills off 99 out of 100 of the Pathogens that are Infecting a Persons Body. Before the Drug Regime all 100 Pathogens were Fight for Resources. But Now, after the Drug Regime, there is Only 1 Pathogen left but it Doesn't have to Fight for Resources. And It can Thrive and Multiply.

There are Also Very Drug Resistant Pneumonia's.

The Body does a Great Job of Fighting off Pathogens. But you have to Give your Body the Best Chance to do it.

Get Plenty of Rest. Eat Good. And Drink a Lot of Water. And Limit or Eliminate ANYTHING that hampers the Body from doing Normal Functions. Like Nicotine. Or Putting something in your Lungs that makes it Harder for you Lungs to Heal.

I'm Not trying to Scare you. I just want you to know that Pneumonia is Nothing to Fool around with.
