Other than VaporCig, does anyone know of any american based sellers/dealers who warranty their parts?

Try JantyUsa and Cigtechs. I believe they both have 3 - 6 month warranties.

Also njoy I believe has a 1 year warranty, but most people are not happy with the device itself it seems from reviews here.

Phil at e-smokey treats has 3 months and his kits come with 2 batteries and 2 atties...great guy to deal with! :D

Mad PROPS' to Phil with Smokey Treats. He stands behind his product and is a top supplier in my book. Prices are cheaper then Njoy and he is a straight shooter.

thank you all for the heads-up and info!

Ive decided against VaporCig due to the fact that i cant trust a business who doesnt list a valid street address or phone number on their site...i mean heck, what recourse do i have for their lifetime warranty on atomizers if i dont even know where theyre located!

Due to most of these sites not having enough honest info listed about themselves and/or their associated warranties, making a final decision has quickly become a painful experience for me...ive been around the net for decades (long before it was called "internet") and I can see that most of the sellers im finding are either hiding behind a curtain OR have no clue how to setup a website and e-biz properly...yet i have to give out my credit info to one of them, hmf!...I have to admit im extremely apprehensive.

Just as a for instance...Vapor guys told me in an email that they offer a 30 day warranty, however their site only states a 14 day guarantee, so technically speaking there's a discrepancy there which I dont like.

geez, what's a poor e-smokin wanna-be to do? lol

Thanks again..i guess ill figure it out
Dave

Get'cher 300 baud modem here! Get'cher modem here! ;) Yeah Dave I understand. Give me an opportunity to defend some of these folks okay? :)

First, you can forego the CC apprehension (although I don't blame you for it at all!). Most of our sellers here take Paypal, many of them only Paypal, so they aren't getting any CC info. A few of them ask you to still register a name & address with them, but most don't even do that.

Yes many don't have a clue, but that is understandable IMO. They were happy ecig users who decided to try getting a shipment big enough for relatives and put a few up for sale. After that it's been a crapshoot, not knowing if they would get ripped off by their suppliers or lose everything to customs or be shut down without warning by the FDA. You should have been around for the Chinese New Year a few months ago... they didn't know to stockpile in advance and most didn't have the money anyway so the sites were just frozen, waiting. This is all so new. When I started using ecigs last year there were only two sellers in the US and now one of them is gone. And yeah, my warranties on those parts, toast. <shrug> It's just recently we've been getting people who are seriously "going into business" right from the start.

Those comments don't apply to Njoy, Smoking Everywhere, BSF, VaporCig, Janty.

That issue with Vapor Guys, you are right in wanting it addressed. Go ask them in their Supplier section here on the board. I've pm'd or posted a few dozen questions and correction requests and website critiques.

Oh, and we know who most of them are to an mediocre degree, you can get names, cell phone numbers, etc.

njoycigarettes.com-1 year warranty. They have quickly replaced 3-NGARs (e-cigar) for me via my emailing them. They also have a customer service phone number.

Each time they mailed me the NGAR on good faith that I would mail back the bad one.

I think that their prices are decent-$64.95 for NGAR starter kit, considering it includes a true 1 year warranty. Their devices are generic and one can use parts from other suppliers after warranty has run out.

10% discount code njoy10 helps to cover shipping cost.

Disclaimer: I am not connected in anyway with any e-cig/e-cigar supplier.

Hangar,

You are the 2nd person I have seen today asking about Vaporcig. I thought at first you were texasstumbleweed who had asked about them in another post. I was wondering why you were saying disparaging comments about them. Like James mentioned most of these are startup companies and not storefronts where customers are welcome to walk into.
Strange I never even considered there wasn't a phone number or address listed. But I suppose that is because I found them through the threads I posted below.

Where did you see the 14 day warranty on the website?
They offer a 30 day guarantee to return if you are not satisfied with the product. They offer a Lifetime warranty on the atomizer and a 6 month on the battery both which are listed under FAQ.

There are 3 threads I know of for VaporCig where you can learn all about them.

It all started here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...grand-opening-special-limited-time-offer.html

Then the reviews came in: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-any-vapor-1000-review-impression-yet-11.html

and one users detailed review: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/electronic-cigarette-reviews/10270-vapor-1000-review.html

I am very new to vaping and since Vaporcig is the only company I have dealt with I can only tell you my experience. They may not be right for you but your comments were a bit harsh especially since you basically just called them liars.

I can agree with you that making the initial purchase is overwhelming with so any choices and good luck with your choice.
I have been analog free for 5 days now and am loving vaping.

The warranty discrepancy he mentioned was about Vapor Guys.

Another item one might consider about VaporCig... we've had a noticeable number of new members who began their tenure here by posting messages defending VaporCig and criticizing or insulting existing forum members. That hasn't happened here with any other ecig company and it hasn't left a positive impression with me.

Sorry Hangar for misinterpeting your comment. I thought you were just being vague after naming VaporCig earlier in your post.

I am guilty of being new here and in my experiences. I did state that fact clearly in my post.
Perhaps I am too overeager to join into the community and in wanting to share my thoughts.
I hope I have not insulted anyone as I try to put a lot of thought into my posts.

If I had purchased from one of the other vendors and been just as satisfied I would have done the same. I was only trying to help but I think I will just sit back and read for awhile now. :pop:

Hi Calligal. To be clear, you weren't one of the posters I meant - literally members with 1 post, 2 posts, 3 posts, who appear out of nowhere and sound like company shills (whether or not they are).

But yeah, it's true that the tone of your post was similar and reminded me of that other problem. :( However you didn't start out that way and have had many other things to say :thumb: and I hope more in the future.
