Inconsistent flavor - but when its good, its heavenly

Hey there vets. First of all, I have read many topics and threads and although there have been many helpful discussions, this issue seems to me to be quite particular in nature. Also, I am new to the rba scene in my opinion but I have experimented with many wick/coil builds and have a firm understanding of the mechanics behind it have successfully built many functional builds and am simply working on improving the vape experience.

So here you go:

Atomizer: Hydra Titanium v2.1

Mod: iTaste VTR

Battery: Efest IMR 18650 and Panasonic NCR 18650 (doesn't matter which one I'm using, experience is the same)

juice: (doesn't matter, experience is the same with all flavors but I have only been using 60% VG so far on this build)

Coil: 6/5 wrap of 30g, standard wrap(not micro style) 2ohms

Wick: 2mm Ekowool with two strands pulled from cotton yarn threaded into it. I tried one whole thread of cotton yarn but that was too thick and it didn't wick right so I tried just pulling to strands out of a thread and seems to be perfect. The wick is folded over at the top once and the coil wrapped around the doubled over head. The tail of the wick simply feeds into the wick hole. I hope I am explaining this part clearly enough. Also I keep the other wick hole and the fill hole plugged.

Power: 15 watts. I have found that the best RBA experience on the VTR is around 2ohms at 15 watts. Sub ohms works but not nearly is efficiently.

Issue: For reason that is eluding me I cannot get a consistent vape. What I mean by this is that not every hit is as tasty as it can be. Most common is after I let it sit for a minute. When I hit it after it has sat, I get no flavor what so ever. No dry hit, just no flavor. As I continue to draw on it the flavor gets better until it is the best thing I have ever tasted. I mean pure vape heaven. This tank has never tasted so good to be honest but its as if I have to build up to it. I want this thing to taste like that every time as now I know that it is possible lol. This is not an emergency by any means but I know there is a way, I just haven't figured it out. As I am writing this I am trying to vary the way I draw on it and I noticed that I can get flavor every time if I draw slow but with slow draws that incredible flavor doesn't seem to happen. Thanks in advance.

Not sure why you choose to block one wick hole, but if you're not getting dry hits I suppose that doesn't matter.

I find on my SvoeMesto KF clone that I need to fire a second before I draw. My sense is that's because it's such a large air chamber it needs to fill with vapor first. Maybe try that?
