Inconsistent Flavoring?

I bought an 801 last month from VaporKings. I really liked using the coffee and chocolate cartridges with it. I also got some empty carts to use with vanilla, Green Tea and Cherry flavored e-liquids, but I don't really like any of them, except the vanilla is just okay.

I recently purchased a 510 also from VaporKings, but this time I bought 510 empty carts and a large quantity of e-liquid, coffee and chocolate, because I knew I already liked those flavors. However, the e-liquids are really gross! They taste nothing like the carts from before. I'm really disappointed.

How could this be?
Is there often a taste difference from prefilled carts to vials of e-liquid?
Maybe it's just VaporKings? I haen't liked any of the vials for them. Are there reliable suppliers of tasty e-liqs?
Could it be the 510 atomizers? Maybe, because both coffee and chocolate taste bad in the same way on both of my atomizers. The atomized 510 cartridges of green apple that I bought on a whim are delicious.

Please give me some guidance, as I am about to leave the country on July 26th for a few weeks and must find a way to enjoy my new 510 on the road in time to get something delivered.

TIA!

Tastes of Juice are VERY subjective, but there is a LOT of inconsistence in Dekang (Chinese e-juice) I can buy 3 bottles, of EXACTLY the same thing on the same day, from the SAME supplier, and they will ALL taste different.

That said, the difference in hardware can make a difference also. Going from cartomizers to carts makes a HUGE difference. You could also have a problem because your tastebuds are changing if you recently quit the analogs.

I find ALL Chinese juice to have a chemical kind of taste to it. Some call it perfume tasting. I have given up on getting good Chinese juice ( I keep a cpl of bottles for backup for if I get really low ) I get my juice from Vapor Station. They are not as well known as many you will see here, but have the best Tobacco blends in the WOLD in my opinion. They also have a GOOD sampler. 10 5ml juices for $25.00

Thanks for the tip about Dekang juice, oettinger. I see now that Vapor Kings does sells Dekang. :( I tried the new coffee in my old 801 and it still tastes funky, so I'm sure it's the juice. Not the 510.

I guess I need to read some reviews and choose a couple of the forum favorites. Atomic Cinnacide from Tasty Vapor seems to top all lists.

Because I'm leaving the country soon to travel for work, I must place an order ASAP. Normally I would take my time browsing through the forums and testing out different flavors from various sites, but I'm in a bit of a hurry. :(

If anyone would like to recommend a good coffee, mocha or chocolate flavor, and the corresponding site, I would greatly appreciate it. :) I seem to prefer the richer, fuller flavors over the fruitier ones.

Thanks much.

if you like coconut - German Chocolate Cake from Tasty Vapors is good. Also - I didn't like the Atomic Cinnacide, but Geoff's Blend is my new fave. It's got the Atomic Cinnacide in it, but it's mellowed out a little bit. As far as coffee flavors - I've only tried Cafe Macchiato from TV, but it was pretty good. The best part about TV is that they will talk you through it - and you can custom make flavors.

Another place I've seen really good things posted about is Vapor Bomb - although I haven't tried them yet. So far I'm happy with TV so, I'm not sure if I'll stray somewhere else :)

Can we safely assume that you blew the primer out of the 510 attys before you used them?

Yes, changing equipment can change flavor. If I take the same bottle of juice and fill 3 carts and a carto, the standard Joye510 atty tastes a bit different than an SLB510 atty, than a LR 510 atty, anc completely different out of a carto.

That is my experience. And switching to HV changes things all over again.

There cannot be only one way to vape, or I'd be doing it wrong.

My brother vapes Atomic Cinnicide, It makes me feel like my eyes are BLEEDING when I am in the same room as him. That is some POTENT stuff. Many people like it though.

I like the juice from Vapor Station, they have some good coffee flavors, and it is VERY consistent.

Just to follow up... The problem was with the Dekang Chinese e-juices. My friend had similar experiences with them. There seemed to be two lots, of older and newer stock. The older ones had the funky taste and the newer ones were more "acceptable". However, the best juices come the the vendors frequently discussed here. As of today, my personal favorites are Vaporbomb and Vikingvapor. Thank you to those who advised me in this thread.

i would recomend steeping the juices you have.cinnamon and mint flavors are always going to be strong flavors and are pretty hard to screw up,but beware refilling is messy, not only is nicotine a dangerouse poison to be careful with but mint and cinnamon can cause burns ,so dont get it if you rub your eyes a lot
i'm going through the same learning curve.it sucks but dont let it discourage you.i've tried switching to carts back to atty's tolr 306's and multiple pg/vg mixes and differnt suppliers and the only thing i can say is that there needs to be pre steeped flavor certification so people can get a consistant product to establish a base line for comparision. So we can say definitively i like or dislike this juice instead of ,i got a good one this time every once and a while
