I've been wrapping my own coils for a while now on my Kanger tanks.
Recently got a Russian, and love it.
Problem, as I wrapped my coil today with a target of 1.5 Ohm I nailed it on the deck. Fired a few times squeezed the coil a couple of times, still reading 1.5 Ohm. As I assembled everything together and checked the coil again I am getting a higher reading around 2.6 Ohm. A couple of times the dna chip was even flashing the Ohm reading. I'm dumbfounded, please help me understand what is going on here.

TIA

Screws are all tight. I drained the juice and disassembled, took the cotton wick out and checked the Ohm reading, spot on my target of 1.5 Ohm. Fired a few times and squeezed the coil together again. Used less cotton wick this time, checked 1.5, placed the inner chimney on checked 1.6. Soaked the wick, fired, looks good, reading 1.6, I can live with this. Reassembled the entire tank, filled the tank checked the resistance 2.4 Ohm, what in the world is going on here? Why did the resistance jump so much after reassembly?
