You have just one battery that does this? It sounds kinda electrical. With a battery that size its hard to think the atty being too low res would trip the protection circuit if it was working correctly. If its just one battery that does this I would speculate the protection electronics in it are not working right and cutting out because it thinks there is an amperage overdraw.if you have a meter and can check the resitance of the atty it wouldn't hurt.

It's funny I sorta had the same thing happen to my Indulgence, it worked great yesterday, then this morning I got a few vapes off it, then it sorta did the wishhhhhh nothing but not as long as yours, now it's not doing anything at all. I've busted out the multimeter and now the switch seems totally dead.. I'm wondering if I could have a machinist friend of mine make something that's more rugged and have it work.. Untill then I'm awaiting for Vaporjunction.com to get more switches in. If you figure it out let me know..

I have used my Indulgence very little since receiving it two days ago because my eGo has much better vapor. Waiting on LR attys. The switch stop working with the little use. I put a drop of mineral oil in it and wha la, the switch is working as designed. Real cheap plastic crappy switch. I'd like to figure away to change it. Still not happy with the vapor production. Hope the LR's will be better.

This is a follow up. Got the Joye 306LR atty, 1.4 ohms. The vapor production still sucks. I've got to replace the switch with something more positive. There is a 0.4 ohm drop across the switch which adds almost a half an ohm to the resistance of the atty. Plus the loss through the spring connection which is almost another 0.4 ohms making a total of 0.8 ohms. So the 1.4 ohm atty is like using a 2.2 ohm atty. But.... even my eGo performs better with a 2.2 ohm atty.

Okay, I got my Indulgence to work.
I removed the switch and tried to tin the spring between the top of the switch but I could not solder to it. So I used a spring from and old ball point pen (cut to size). I soldered the spring to the brass pin that makes contact to the bottom of the PV top that the atty screws into. Then I soldered the bottom of the spring to the switch leg. This was a difficult procedure. To get the alignment of the spring to the parts as well as making sure the dept of the switch was just right so the button would move in and out. Turned out perfect after much trial and error. Lets see how long this lasts. Vapor production is much improved. The switch resistance went from .4 ohms to ZERO ohms.

Hi breakthru, can you tell me how you took the switch apart? I think the spring underneath the brass contact has melted on mine (I think I managed cause a short when I was checking the voltage output  ). The brass pin is now moving around freely. I've been having a look but can't see a non destructive way of taking the thing apart!

Guys, I replaced my spring in my Indulgence a long time ago and posted about this, I got a copper hot spring from Altsmoke.com, same one the silver bullet and Omega uses, it gave me a much better contact point then the stock thin small Indulgence spring that they use,

As far as you Atty problem with the hissing check the center pin on the bottom of your Atty, when you screw into an Ego or Riva the connection is a bit different then the Indulgence so you may need to pull out you center pin a bit when you screw it back onto your Indulgence, got me,, also grab one of these copper Hot Springs they make for a better bottom spring then the stock one they use

Yes mwa, the spring that your talking about is the bottom battery negative spring which definitely needs to be changed out. What Papa is talking about is the tiny positive spring above the switch which is not visible unless you remove the switch. The switch parts are glued in. I got the tip from "uneverno" who had removed it at: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/143351-inbuzzgence-megabuzz.html
Be careful because he scraped his Indulgence switch parts for the internals from a Buzz. What I did was carefully cut around the plastic block that presses up against the switch and between the switch and the plastic wedge with a razor knife. Then rock the wedge back and forth with a long nose pliers as you try to tug it out. Be careful not to break it. The hard part is getting it back in. Once out, I found a stronger spring and filed both ends of the spring for better continuity. I also had to cut it down for proper action.
In case you missed my previous tip, a drop of baby oil in the button helped it's on/off performance.

Good luck Papa, you can always buy a switch unit sold separately for 19.95 but you will probably run into the same problem. This Indulgence inspired me to build my own PV. I put together an awesome copper tube for little money. I'm vaping thru it right now. Can you see this type thru the heavy fog that I'm blowing?
