Indulgence question

Someone (who's very patient) please explain to me or point me in the right direction. I now am the proud owner of 2 indulgence mods. Both have a shorter batt. cup and an extended one for 2 batts. I received cr18350 batteries as well as some 14500 batteries (which are longer and slimmer). I can get my unit to work with both cr18350's beautifully but can't get either one to fire w/just one batt in the shorter cup. And what's with the 14500's? Am almost at the head-banging point so will go get groceries and check back later. TIA to all you ECF veteran's for any help you can provide.

The 18350 might be too short? Does it rattle in the mod? Maybe try a small magnet as a spacer?
The 14500 has nothing to do with the Indulgence to my knowledge.

I agree, I've got an older Indulgence and I use it for either 18650's (with the extension) or 18350's with the standard body. I can't see where a 14500 comes into it. 2 x 18350's do fit (just about) in the extended body but 7.4v vaping doesn't really appeal to me.
