I've had my eye for quite some time on Bottom Feeding box mods such as the Ali'i, Reo, Phidius and monkey however either I can't get a hold of them due to unability to order or just not 100% sure for the price.

Looking for suggestions on a nice first purchase bottom feeding unit. Anyone know of where to find one at a reasonable price. I am probably going to buy one of the ones I mentioned above but want to try one out first.

Thanks everyone

Monkey Boxx is a great PV, I have 2! He is new to this forum and so isn't backlogged like many of the others. It may take a week or two but that's about all.

I thought they were $110 last I checked. Maybe a little out of his price range (although he did say he will eventually buy one of those) for the time being.

thanks for all the reply's guys, I got lucky on the classifieds last night and even though it was more than I wanted to pay for a first bottom feeder I am pretty sure I will be happy with what I got.

Wasn't exactly inexpensive, but you got a nice looking unit. VV to boot!

Exactly AG, but I can't complain abot what I got, I haven't had buyer's remorse and if I couldve ordered one from them I would have anyway. when I posted that thread I was actually just looking for something to tide me over until I could rap my paws around a reo or an ali'i. Heck after tonight I might have gotten lucky on both fronts. It'll be a heck of a two day stretch!!

Looked into his but there's another situation where orders are put on hold. Stu is getting gastric-bypass surgery and won't be doing much til the end of the month. Just my luck every place I am looking to get one is not available!!!!

I had the same surgery 2 years ago. I went back to work after a week and had to tussle with a 16 year old kid my first day back! Luckily, I didn't "bust a stitch" or aggravate any of my new plumbing. If anyone knows Big Stu, tell him to feel free to PM me for tips on recovery and how to feel normal again in the weeks to follow. It's a big transition, but one of the best things I ever did for my health.
