I started out with a Vapage Vmod XL. A few times a year they have half price sales and I was lucky enough to get one of those deals. It's worth it at half price IMO, but I would not buy one at full price.

I liked the bottom feeder experience though and now have a Reo Grand.

Good luck with it :)

I quit smoking with a vmod. Sign up for their newsletter, they have tons of sales, sometimes for like $$50 for an entire kit.

REO is more durable, and you can resell it. But listen, both have their fans, I can't tell anybody what to buy. I have a friend here who loves vmods, and can afford 20 reos, but doesn't buy any. :)

A vapemate from Super T, if they still have them, will turn any stick batt into a "bottom feeder".

And this list here is 2 years old but:

You might think about posting a want to buy in the classifieds. I'd bet there's still a few hundred old goats and maybe a juicy lucy or two that folks would be willing to part with for a few dollars (old goats originally sold for 30 bucks and juicy lucy's were maybe 40, so I'd guess previously owned would be a substantial discount from that). Boge Revolution V2s are still available from several vendors and I think the average price is about 32 bucks. In fact, I bet google can lead you to a few places selling a Boge Revolution V2 under 30 and maybe even a couple of places with close out deals with 2 of them for 50 bucks or such.

Do they still Old Goats? If not I'm kind of sad ...

Nope. Old Goat quit making feeders maybe a year and a half ago. He had a little trouble managing the income vs his pension... I was sad too, but sure understand he had to do what was right for him. He's a super good dude.
