Hey everyone!

Would you be kind enough to point me in the direction of a good, inexpensive DIY starter kit, or perhaps a breakdown of what I need to get started?

I would really like to try my hand at DIY, but am kind of poor and not really employed at the moment.

I used to make all natural incense using essential oils and other natural products that everyone just loved. (I thought about doing it professionally for a while, but for the fact I used tobacco in several of the recipes.)

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Natural incense? sounds cool...how do you do that?

Oh ya and mini starter kit....must haves IMO
VG/PG.....can get a lot of different places walmart pharmacy is the quickest and cheapest
Unflavored NIC........try FMS or extremevaping
Bottles.....small 3 or 6ml bottles
needles/syringe........foster and smith has them for pretty cheap look around for codes before buying
and Flavoring....cheapest per ml is FF but you have to by it 2oz at a time. PA is a pretty good option as you can get smaller samples.
Gloves.......(idk where to get had friend nab me a box)

DIYshack has starter kits...I got one and havnt used a lot of the stuff included...or it wasnt enough of a supply and the box it'sself :p is really cheaply made.

@UntamedRose: It's not really too difficult. I used to use mainly dried woods or plants / flower and add resins (like frankincense and myrrh) and / or essential oils as needed. Ground and mix, then let dry to the right consistency. I didn't make self-combustible incense, rather I instructed people to use salt peter blocks as a heat source.

Okay cool, thanks for the list and the suppliers. :)

@zbasspro: Thanks for the tips I will go look and see what kits they have there. I can't really get into the DIY PIF because I don't have any supplies yet, but I can't wait until I do. :)

Best gloves I've found are "Black Widow" tattooing gloves. You should be able to get them at any shop that sells pro-grade tattooing supplies. :)

DYI Flavorshack has DYI kits available.

I bought all of my stuff individually though.

I got my Propylene Glycol from here

I bought my vegetable glycerin at WalMart, but you can get it here also. I've ordered supplements from them many times in the past. They are very reputable.

I got my bottles and beakers from US Plastic.

I got my pipettes from ebay.

Lastly, I got a syringe without a needle from WalMart.
