So I'm about to make my first purchase from notcigs and am unsure on which to buy... I plan on getting the VVPV or the Buzz Pro when they are released, but this M402 just isn't cutting it so I want to grab one now.

I know many of you own both and so I'm curious as to what you guys think is the better model. (Or at least the better model to own before the Pro series comes out.)

Looking forward to your input!

I own both and love both. The Infinity is slimmer, has the voltage adjustment wheel, but has a little bit shorter battery life...about 8 hours compared to about 10 for the Buzz. The Buzz has a larger range of atty or carto resistance. The Infinity doesn't like anything less than about 2.8ohm atties.

Hope that helps a little in your decision making, they are both great PVs :)

If you have any concerns on "appearence" of your PV when you are out and about, I'd say the Infinity has a more "classier" look to it. But---that is just one of the reasons I choose the Buzz. I am by no means "classy" by any standards and even if I am out somewhere, I could care less what someone else might think. My Buzz is what keeps me off cigarettes, so basically it's my lifeline to remaining a nonsmoker now. Also. the Buzz - to me - is a rugged beast and I wanted something that could "take a lickin' and keep on tickin'." Kinda like me ... and I've taken more than my fair share of lickins', and so far....I'm still tickin'. With my Buzz .. I hope to tick a lot longer too.:thumb:

Either way - you will have a winning PV with Outstanding Customer Service. We all know Mike has our back - so we don't worry about a thing.:) Hell - I'd make extra just for that.

All right... I think you've convinced me to just go with the buzz. (Though it is so tempting to just wait for the fire sale!) What connection is best/how do you determine what connection you should use? I've really only heard much about the 510 but it seems a few of you use the 901... What are the major differences in them?

Well if your like me....God forbid...You use many different thread types. I use adapters because I use so many different connectors. With that said I have to go with the 901 and I don't use 901 anything. Or you could go with thje 808, that way your 808 stuff will work and so will your 901 stuff because they have the same threads. Then with an adapter you can use your 510 and 801 stuff.
The main reason is if you read on any vendors subforum you will find post after post of troubles with the center post an 510 and I don't recall that many with the 808 and for sure the 901. That is my 2 cents that I hope makes sense.

PS If you wait for the fire sale you may as well get the Buzz Pro because it will have twice the vaping time on a charge and it will have a wheel to adjust it instead of a screw driver. The fire sale isn't until after the BP release.
