I'd buy a pink as well as my purple Seeing as I connect pink to the women in my life's struggle with Brest cancer. (knock on wood)
Several of us that want pink. But sadly no, each color takes $$ to produce so not now. But maybe just maybe we cans sway the vote???

PS huggles kyez I miss see you.

That's why the Infinity in my sig has the pink ribbon.

I thought once I chose a buzz color it would make the choice for an Infinity color easy.... but I still have no clue. It didn't really matter what I chose for the Buzz because it is just going to be a backup. Now I am wondering if I want my infinity to match my Buzz or go a different way completely. Maybe I will get a black with brass to match the husbands buzz!

OK... the point in posting, did I read some where that one of the infinity colors would not have the on/off switch?

Yes you did read that about one of the Infinity colors Moo, but I'll be damned if I can remember which color. Chrome maybe? I'm sure someone else will chime in.

Yes, That would be the Chrome Version. It is the anodization of the threads in the Anodized Aluminum versions, which results in non-conductive threads, that allows for the "switch" function. The Electro-plating process, used for the Chrome version, leaves the threads still conductive so there can be no "Master switch" function with the standard bottom cap. Although, I also recall Mike thinking about a newly designed Bottom cap with delrin threads so that the chrome version could still have the switch function, but he may have decided that the negatives outweighed the value of the Switch function.

Well then no chrome for me. Is that the same for the clear Buzz Pro?

No the clear is anodized , I am having some issues with the bottom switch not all of them perform as advertised ! some take a full turn to turn OFF ! ?? not sure what happened but ?

I guess there's always a hitch in the giddy-up somewhere  I'm sure we'll adapt to it, just turn it until it doesn't fire.

The red Led in the slot will go off when it is OFF , BTW the LED draws so little current it should last 1 month sitting there ON ! \

Probably due to variations in the thickness of the anodization on the threads. I don't think it is a big problem as long as it shuts off before it reaches the point where the bottom cap is so loose it will fall off.

That's bizarre! The master switch will completely disconnect the circuit from the power source, right? Are you using capacitors in the circuit that retain power when disconnected so that the LED can be operating off residual power?

Edit - Actually it just hit me - The "Master switch" must not be completely disconnecting the circuit but merely creating so high a resistance that the atomizer won't fire, however since the LED requires an extremely low current it will still fire.

No when the cap is switched ON the red led says ON but it draws very little current , when the switch is OFF the red led goes OFF as well . It appears that on some of them that the anodizing was thin in the threads so they are not that consistent like the prototypes were ???

Yes, the inconsistent anodizing is the most likely explanation. Hopefully it will still get the job done even if some units need to have the cap turned more than others! :)

The LED - Wow, I really need to start getting some more sleep - too much stuff going on in real life. I read "the LED goes off" like "a Rocket goes off" as in it still fired, LOL. Sorry, for my confused ramblings. :)
