Hi guys a few questions on the Infinity.

I noticed that the Notcigs site now says you can use 2.4lr down from 2.8lr also read about the top cap now using a better adhesive.

So have there been any other changes or refinements lately to the Infinity other than the above?

Also does the Infinity kit come with protected batteries?

Not exactly sure ^ how important that is on the Infinity but thought I would ask.

I need a PV when out in public, out at nightclubs and the Infinity seems to be the best VV PV for me for that imo so its on my to get mod list.

Thanks

We now can use down to 2.4 ohms on the Infinity , we also changed the glue on the top cap and so far it seems to be working good , The batts we have now are protected ( we had to get some unprotected one while China was on vacation but they are gone now )

It works good for out and about IMO

VPC I love my Buzz, but my ∞ is in my hand most of the time, in and out n about. The thumb wheel is awesome and I like the fit. I think it's a great choice.

+1 ... Was there a problem with the Top Cap? Can't tell with mine.. Been :vapor: for about 12h more or less on it... Great PV

Just to make sure here, if I order Infinity batts now, they are the protected ones?
I've been using just 1 set since Jan. 28 when I received my Infinity, because the extra set I ordered had a bad battery. I was told at the time to wait for the replacements (plus I wanted to order a few more) until the protected ones came back in stock. So am I good to go now?

I use mine in an office environment. Black and brass looks nice, not gaudy.

Battery life is also rock solid. I use cartos at 3+ ohms and it lasted the entire day, with relatively little use of my PT at work. A super device.
Yeah I was a bit surprised by the battery life. I get a whole day out of mine for the most part. I heard all the talk about 4-6 hours but I vape quite a bit (probably 5ml/day) and I make it all day.

Ok thanks wasn’t sure on the batts I didn’t see it listed on the site if they were protected. I like that 2.4ohm is now supported on the Infinity so if I run 2.8-3.0 cartos more cushion room if they vary a little to the downside. Also if needed this gives the possible option to play with Iken V2 2.5(?) ohm cartos with a little room.

Ok thanks for you experience and the thumb wheel is a big plus for me on the Infinity imo that I like when out and out at night for quick excess to change voltage settings.

I also love my Infinity. It vapes like a champ.... and is IMO its as durable as the buzz. You should also remember that the Infinity and the buzz both have protection built in so with protected batteries your double protected.

I thought I read this in my research but wasn’t sure if it was just for the Buzz but thanks for confiming this.

I pretty sure I am going with black (but do like the chrome) when I order and thinking of starting with Boge 3.0 cartos since I have been happy with Boge 2.0 carto’s on my current PV.

That would surprise me too, I hoping for the 4-6 hours 6+ would just be a bonus. But maybe on light vaping days (3.0) I’ll see over 6 hours? if so that would be just a bonus for me on this device.

Thanks guys for all the responses and if any of you guys have any pic’s fo your Infinity and with a carto on (preferably) or without you could post I would be interested in seeing them.

@Buzz
I really like the design & look of the Infinity the way it is now for what I want it for as posted. But just for kicks I am playing with the ideal to fab up a cone just to see what it would look like. I thinking it would give it just a touch more of a inconspicuous look or cigar look when out at events at night. But I won't know if I like till I see it with it on then again I might not even like it :)

Would a cone have any negitive effect vaping per air draw on the Infinity?

WE had some issues with the conn. being to far into the cone area and this caused some airflow problems ( bad QC from my supplier ) the top cap is NOT easily replaced in the field !

Mine is new, only took one 4' accidental drop (onto carpet), but the wheel is quite nice, no risk of accidental self-adjustment that I can see. It is pretty close to flush with the barrel, just a very slight protrusion, and takes conscious effort to turn.
The unit itself is about the full height of a shirt pocket, from base to top of the drip cap, with any carto or atty/tip extending above the pocket. It would be fine in a cargo pocket, diagonal, but I couldn't see carrying it in standard front or rear pants pockets.

Can some one tell me how easy the thumb wheel turns .... ??

Does it ever change voltage on you when in your pocket ??

Been looking, and that is the only concern I can see.

No, it has very subtle friction or resistance to keep it tightly in place. On mine I use my finger nail to turn it because I can see how far it turns. Got big thumbs. I lost mine and was shaking out my afghan looking for it. Well I found it when it went sailing across the room and landed against something, probably the floor, with a bang. I went over picked it up and started vaping. He builds these things to last and take a little punishment. I wouldn't recommend throwing them though.

Buzz I had no intention of removing or modifying the top cap I was thinking to just fab up as a temporary/removable cone. I was also thinking of ways to make the cone attach without modifying any hardware on the Infinity just looking to fab a temporary cone to just use at certain times.

What about this for airflow what if I drilled 4 small vent holes around the circumfuse of the fab cone for airflow do you think that would work?

Really I like the Infinity just the way it is but I like to play around sometimes and I didn’t know you guys considered a cone for the Infinity. Do you have any pre production pictures you could post of the Infinity with a cone on I’d like to see what it would look like?

If not when I get some time I am going to Photoshop an Infinity with a cone so I can get an ideal what it would look like.
