Don't reviewers in the US have to disclose if they were given anything in return for reviewing something? I remember hearing something along those lines but don't remember anything specific.
As far as finding a good reviewer, it doesn't really bug me if they get the item they are reviewing for free because the good ones still give a legit review no matter if they got the item for free or not.
"I read it on the internet, so it has to be true! They can't put anything that isn't true on the internet, I read that on the internet as well!"
No, they don't have to disclose that information, I think most are fairly biased, but like to hear themselves a lot!
I don't think a veteran is going to flame anyone that finds something that works for them. The problems arise when someone with a low post count comes in and says "I've got no budget and want the best vape ever!" What do you recommend to them? I've no idea of their skill set! I saw a guy recommend a NGP hybrid to a person with 15 posts the other night! The OP was talking about EGO's and here comes the NGP suggestion? Sure, it was in the price range, but................
The biggest problem I see with newbies, is they get a lot of advice from people that don't want to listen to what they are asking for!
"I want a VV for $75, what do I buy?" Three posts in, or less, "Buy a Provari!"
"I want to spend $200 for a complete setup, thoughts?" This is a can of worms! Someone with 20 posts will come in and say get an IHybrid or some other Genny setup, while others are talking about EGO's, clearomizers and juice!
I implore, PLEASE, read and THINK about what the OP is asking for! If you have 15 posts, I don't really think you are ready to talk about Genny's and rba's with knowledge, much less do I think someone just starting out NEEDS one!
Sorry about my rant, just have seen a lot of this and "in fighting" of late, it's not about what's best, it's about what works for who's asking and we really need to listen to them!
