Ok, so after a full week of only vaping I thought it was time for me to finally start writing about things. Oh and just thought guys make sure you order a lot of juice with first time starting to vape because you WILL become a vaping fool.
After a couple of weeks of researching and frying my brain cells I finally chose a supplier of e-juice and kits to order through. Mind you this changed several times the more I learned about what was the best, and I was thrilled that I had found the ECF and that it is full of so much information. I can't tell you how many you tube videos I have watched about this or that pv, and e-juices have been the same. I also wanted a supplier where I could get everything I needed from one place. I don't know about you, but I hate having to order from this place and that. It just ends up to be a lot of money in shipping, but in the end I did order from two different places and the reason why is stated below.
I decided on ordering juices from freedomsmokesusa, and my kits from liberty flights (they had a really great sale on eGo kits that I couldn't pass up.) Both were fast with shipping and my partner and I were like kids waiting for christmas (well they were more or less christmas presents for us.) Oh and just an FYI don't get all .... hurt on USPS shipping because they don't make updating you on where your package is a priority.
Got everything set up and started vaping while still learning which juice needed to be steeped and which was good right out of the box. We ordered quite a few different juices while making sure that we had our 60ml each for the month as being a new vapor a new person will not know what their palate is going to like and not like.
With ordering myself mostly fruit flavors, and my partner mainly tobacco flavors I quickly found out that I really liked the fruit flavors, but for just quitting smoking that the tobacco flavors tasted like a stale cig .... (my partner had been vaping cheap pvs for the past three weeks so she was getting the caramel, and vanilla taste from the tobacco where I wasn't.) I loved the fruit flavors and was on cloud nine, but over this next week noticed that things started changing hence we have placed three more separate orders for ones that we have fallen in love with, and with a higher or lower nic. I also started noticing that I was "fruited" out and needed something more with a kick in the pants to vape. I then ordered nut mix, vanilla tahity, cappuccino smooth, as well as a few others. What can I say but they have become my all day vapes (I am sitting here currently vaping nut mix as I type.)
I will note that in the past week my sinuses have swelled up, and ringing in my ears, as well as my blood pressure has gone up and down. Now had I not read on the ECF about people having issues on this all the way to feeling like having a cold I would have been more than alarmed about this. It just makes sense that after so many years of smoking that your body is trying to adjust itself and start clearing things out? And of course being agitated easily about things that wouldn't regularly bother me. Thank god my partner had the patience and just kept telling me that I needed to take a couple of puffs off a higher nic to calm myself down. After all your body isn't getting the 4000 chemicals anymore and your body is going through the alert that something isn't right "OMG where's my fix?" alert. It just takes patience and learning how much to vape, what tastes good at that moment, and when you need to adjust your nic level, and then when you can go back down and vape your normal mg for the rest of the day.
I have noticed that over the past week that there are times that I can't taste my nic juice. Its just blah and thank goodness my partner had started a thread about cleansing your palette. We are thankful for having tea, lemons, and saltine crackers around the house as they have helped. Oh and I was also told to get some biotene toothpaste and mouth wash as well (will be getting some next month as I only get paid once a month and have tapped us out of funds with all the juice.)
Also, during this week I have already broken an atty. While cleaning it I started pulling out white threads that looked like dental floss. I freaked out a bit, and we looked it up. Yet another great thread on the ECF telling us that I was just de-wicking the atty and that it should be just fine. Well it was until an incident where while I was cleaning said atty and my stupid room-mate startled me to where I dropped it down the sink. No amount of cleaning would make it vape any better. Looked up on here about de-bridging the atty and with a video did that. Still little vapor production and I felt like I was sucking a wendy's shake through a straw to get a good pull out of it. Finally I gave up on it and am cashing it in to being broke. Thank god I have ordered a spare. I will tell you all that when you are a new person to make sure that when you order your first kit to make sure that you order two extra attys with them. Not only will you have spares on hand for when you are cleaning the ones you have used, but you will also have backups in-case of incidents like I just had.
More or less what I am stating is that starting out vaping and switching over from analogs to vps takes a lot of research and money. Don't do what I did and try and put yourself on a budget because you will quickly find that you like one juice over another. Make sure that you order yourself plenty of sample bottles of different juices in different pg/vg percentages as well as higher and lower nics. Look for sales as well and for your first set up find one vendor to try juices from. Now I am not saying that I am not going to order from a couple of other vendors that I have found have a great reputation, but your just starting out and need to first learn about your supplies and how much to order. And make sure you set aside some extra money for in the first week you get an idea of what you may need to order to complete things or if an accident happens.
More or less its all learning, trial and error. Just be patient and don't give up. Also, don't feel like any question is a stupid question on here because there are many great knowledgeable people on this site that have been where you are and are willing to help you.
Have a great day and Vape on!!
