Oh I know the D4 can do that. If I put 3 batteries in they all charge at 375mah. I was asking if say I put in just 2 batteries and let them charge to max at 750mah, then take them out and put the 3rd and last bat to charge at 1Amp. Then will that be safe to put in my wismec and use?

Yes, I edit'd my post after you read it. Was confused about your question. Its been edit'd to reflect that.

Yes its safe, I believe you can "safely" charge these batteries up to 2amps per battery...altho the life of the battery will shorten..

Hi, new to ECF and need some help.

I've just recived my Nitecore D4 charger.
I just checking is it safe to charge 2 batteries at 750mah then put in a 3rd to charge at 1A after the first 2 are charged. Instead of charing all 3 at 375mah. Batteries are married and are for Wismec RX200. Thank you.
I would check the charge rate with the manufacturer. I believe you can charge them all at the same rate provided your battery has over charge protection.

The charge rate the OP stated is correct for the D4, it caps out at 3xx mah per battery once you have more than 2 in there and 750 for 2 or less.

Specifications say on charger:
375mah x4
750mah x2

The batteries I use are 3 light purple 3000mah 30A. I don't know the brand of these as it doesn't say on the battery. Got them from my local vape shop, he said they were the best they had to offer.

My other set of three are Kamry 2000mah not sure on the Amps these offer as I can't find specs online.
All batteries are unprotected IMR's

Charger is Nitecore D4 EU 2016 version.

The D4 has two channels with two bays on each channel. If you insert at least one battery on each channel the max charging rate of 750 will be split to 375 on each channel. If you insert just two batteries and they are on the same channel they will both charge at the 750 rate.

It is best to charge married batteries at the same rate.

Although there's some interesting research on how batteries actually charge that is pointing towards charge rate (as long as it doesn't exceed manufacturer's specified max rate) having little to no impact on battery longevity and performance, I would recommend charging each set as a unit at the same rate, just to be on the safe side.
