Can people give me some good information regarding an all VG liquid. I just ordered all VG liquid and am going to give it a try. I bought a blu cig yesturday and it was all VG they don't put PG in there juice just flavorings and VG and citric acid and it dried me out something terrible, although I am a huge lung smoker. I like to put my smoke in my lungs. I woke up earlier than normal this morning very dried out. All I am asking for is your opinions or good articles on VG. Its been over an hour since I have been up an I am still very dry in my mouth and even my lungs and through my inner body felt dry which almost made my breathing weird because I was so dry. LOL. :vapor:

I see that you have been vaping for almost a month now. Do you vape every day? Are you still smoking?

Yes I am still smoking ciggerettes because I can't just vape as much as I want to as I cough alot and it makes my lungs and breathing feel weird in the mornings when I wake up. I am just trying to learn about how to do all of this right.

Quite a bit, especially since I have been vaping VG. Maybe like three 20 OZ bottle of water a day plus tea and other stuff. maybe a soft drink to.

That might not be enough. 20oz is only 2.5 cups. Wait I guess you said 3 of those, so that's about 8 cups which is the minimum recommended. Tea and coffee and pop are dehydrating due to the caffeine and sugar.
Here's a good article Vaping Dehydration Dilemma - What Can You Do?
It might help if you fill up a couple of liters of water and put in the fridge and try to drink at least one a day. Add some fruit juice to make it tastier. It's something I have done that works well, but I'll admit I slack off and don't do it all the time....

I experienced the same thing, I coughed a lot, and my lungs ached because I was taking in more vapor than my lungs were used to. It will go away on it's own - if it doesn't, stop vaping and talk to a doctor, you may have an allergy, or something else going on.

Yeah actually what you said reminded me that that happened to me too at first, I had just got the first juice I liked and vaped it like crazy, then went out to get on my bike and coughed and my lungs felt kind of "full" or something and I thought damn maybe vaping isn't good for you after all. But after a week or so it went away.
I second the Dr. visit if it doesn't go away though or is very severe

Yeah I smoked a disposable Blu Yesturday and those are all VG and flavoring and citric acid. And it didn't give me bad headaches, it didn't make me cough a bunch, but when i woke up the morning my lungs felt full just how you explained lol. Its just a learning experience and I will never feel bad for putting myself through what I am to figure out vaping because honestly I am only trying to figure this out for my own health as to getting off the cigs so yeah. Even if vaping doesn't work out for me I will still never regret trying. Ciggerettes are killers in the long run we all know that anyways..

That stuff I vaped like crazy in the early days (actually 3 months ago) that made my lungs feel full like that was Highbrow Vapor's Coconut, oh man how i loved it, and it was 100%VG, so maybe that was it-maybe there is a period of adjustment, but now I can vape it and feel fine...

another thing about high VG, it will lead more to that fullness feeling in your lungs, especially when you're not used to it.

Tucson, it's a dry heat
Vegetable Glycerin is a humectant - it will dry you out because it causes your mouth to retain moisture. Drink a TON of fluid - soda will also dehydrate you (especially caffeinated soda.) You may also get a case of the vaping zits from all the moisture on your face. Your body will get used to it over time. It's all part of the adjustment to vaping. I broke out a lot when I first started vaping - esp. high VG.

If you don't inhale it alot though it shouldn't bother your breathing to much though right? Does nicotine mess with your breathing?

I don't think so, at least I never heard of nicotine affecting breathing.
I was inhaling that coconut vape though and chain vaping it like a chimney so that might have been part of the problem.
If you continue having problems maybe change to PG based juice, some people prefer that. It could be that there is something in the Blu cig that doesn't agree with you also, maybe a flavoring or something?

My question might be better for another thread, but I can't find that thread so far. Are there grades of VG? I get mine at the drugstore. It's the least expensive ingredient in my DIY mixing projects, but I'm wondering if drugstore stuff which is made for moisturizing dry skin is of the proper quality to vape. Anybody have info on this?
