You can use any of the early or later generation clearomizer tanks on a variable voltage eGo. You won't be able to use any of the "sub-ohm" tanks (tanks which use coils less than 1.0 ohm).

Single coils will work better on an eGo battery, however you can use some dual coil clearomizers with satisfactory success. Look for resistances of 1.5 - 3.0 ohm for both single and dual coil clearomizers. The lower the number the "warmer" the vape will be; the higher the number the "cooler" the vape will be.

For more vapor, go with higher volts, and lower resistance. Or max volts with higher resistance. I suggest trying the lower resistance first. For some reason, lower resistance coils seem to be more readily available. You get some 1.5-1.8 coil heads, start your volts out around 3.6, and increase slowly until you get a satisfying vape. If you crank it right to high you might burn your coil. Not pleasant. Or it might not even fire. It's been too long since I used an Ego Twist to recall what max volt for lower resistance cut off is. Sorry. There might not even be one. I'm really not sure. But I do know if you go too high in volts, with too low a resistance coil, and it lets you fire, that's not going to be fun for you.
