I have switched to E-Cigs and have not had an Analog since the day I got my first kit two weeks ago. yay me... except for about half a pack "YUCK" when my first couple of cartomizers fizzled empty.

I have a couple of equipment questions and a couple of tricks that have worked for me and an idea i'm going to try out. The questions are because after searching several posts I was more confused than when I started searching.

I baught my first kit from www.lecig.com. It was a KR808D-1 starter with 2 batteries charger and 5 caromizers. Luckily I baught an extra 5 with the intial order! After a couple of days my wife agreed to try also and we got her a kit also with a usb passthrough for me and a bottle of juice. Ok that takes care of the background.

I assume I burnt up my first set of cartomizers from vaping them to death waiting on the second order to go through. I assume these need to be thrown as even filling them with the same liquid they came with they just don't taste the same. Would cleaning them mabey resurect them?

With the second kit I ordered some of lecigs mega cartomizers. I filled these with the PG liquid I purchased and they seemed to work good but then I ordered some flavors from Backwoods Brew and started toping them off with this and now they seem to have no flavor at all. However the Backwoods Brew tastes great in blank cartomizers. Anyone have any idea why that would be? I think I may have burnt them also as I started using my passthrough and vaped pretty hevily. Not sure as they still produce lots of vapor just very little flavor after the first fill.

Another question is, how long can I expect the 808 batteries to last assuming I don't get juice down in them killing the auto switch.

I just ordered an Ego usb passthrough battery and som CE2 ver5 clearomizers. Anbody used these together yet and what are you thoughts.

For refilling the carotmizers I found that a set of picks that I used to use to help dissasemble carborators works perfect for pulling the top off. Also if you put a condom on the bottom about halfway on you can use it to clear the air tube wile filling by squezzing it like a turkey baster.

I read a post somewhere and saw a video on drying cartomizes by putting them in a cardboard tube and spinning them at the end of a string to force the water out via centrifigal force. I am going to try and build a little centrifuge that I can mount on my drill to do the same thing, only with several at a time. It will basically be a wooden disk with holes drilled at a sharp angel to slide the cartomizer into and a small wheep hole to allow the water out. Then with a bolt through the center to atach to the drill. This should work to spin the water out of them. Just have to point it down in the sink or take it outside.

Hello and welcome. You seem to gotten off to a good start. Sounds like the 2 flavors mixed together cancel each other out. I don't know of a good way to clean cartomizers that have fill in them tho. I think you will like the clearomizers. They give good flavor and vapor.(at least for me). I hope you ordered a needle and syringe to fill them tho. The little plastic things they send with them don't work . A 20 guage needle is the right size and if you have vg ejuice, just take your time pushing the plunger as it will fill slower.

ps. Ego passthrus are great. Use them all the time with the clearomizers.

OMG. Centrifuge. Just be careful with auto batteries. Drips can kill those. Chinese usually claim a 300 recharge life for ecig batteries but a respected vendor says it is more like 150 recharges before they stop charging as well

The juices - dunno. A too wet carto can cause lack of flavor. And BWB is 70pg/30vg and sometimes I think a bit less VG flows and vaporizes better in tight carto stuffing. You could transfer some BWB to a tiny juice bottle and try adding a drop of distilled water or pure grain alcohol (or vodka if you don't have grain) to it. Experiment.

Also BWB flavors are never overdone - they are good all day vapes. And whatever flavor/aroma was left in the carto could be messing up the balance of flavor in the BWB.

Yay!!!. You can go to a local pharmacy and get a syringe(plunger) for under a $1.00. Or southern states. Sounds like you are set to go. BWB is good ejuice. I especially like the applewood. Really good.
Most of the users here prefer manual ecigs tho. You can control the length of the vape. Autos have a cut-off that is usually short. Also the manual ones are totally sealed so you don't have to worry about juice getting in the battery. Just some info.

Only use 1 drop of water per 10ml........that will also produce loads of vapor.

if 30 drops in 1 ml (which i think it is, after reading about it) that would mean 1 drop of distilled water in 300 drops of juice? i cant see that making any kind of difference in the vapor or viscosity but since im kind of new here, i dont really know. its more of a question.

The only problem is, I don't have anything to mix it in. I have a 10ml bottle but it still has som BWB casablanca in it. Don't want to ruin that as I love it. Waiting for my bigger bottle of it to arive.

One drop of watter in that 10ml bottle doesn't look like it would do much but I can see it not taking much to change the viscosity.

Just though I would add that I made a prototype of the centrifuge. It seems to work pretty good but I think I need to make something with a larger diameter to get more centrifugal force out of it or just run it longer. I really want something that I can dry out the carto in a matter of seconds not minutes. Not to mention the wear and tear it will put on my $15 dollar drill..

Just make sure you use an even number of carto's evenly spaced so your not out of balance if you try this.
