I was wondering if anybody knew / found any studies on the potential effects of long term use of VG/PG liquids. I'm sure they can't be any more worse than what's in cigarettes. Either way I'd rather be vaping than smoking if I had to choose between the two. I also have a feeling that it's more dependent on what kind of liquids a person is smoking since there are literally hundreds if not thousands of different kinds of liquids that are available today which are all made from different ingredients.

Regardless I'm proud to be among the ranks of people on their way to quitting, as I'm beginning to tolerate lower doses of nic in my liquids with my next orders being 0 nic levels from then on out.

i wonder what the big tobacco industries are thinking as the vaping revolution gains popularity, I'm sure they'll probably find a way to jump on the bandwagon and release their own version of liquids (God knows what kind of chemicals they'd put in those). Either way, .... them, and their products, and the harm and deaths they've caused :).

This is also my first post. SHOW ME LOVE!

PG is common in fog juice, and Madonna has been running around in that stuff for decades - night after night, tour after tour. She seems to be doing alright. VG... i don't know. Truth is: no one really knows. But I would assume we only worry about health issues because someone originally called it an electronic CIGARETTE. If they had originally named it a flavorized humidifier, we would all be talking about how healthy they are... then again, most of us would never have picked one up if that were the case.

As for big tobacco, if they really care they will just buy some successful ecig company... like Blu.

i think we all pick our poisons in life-some like drinking, some like drugs...it's the same with smoking or vaping. personally, i get more satisfaction from vaping now that i've learned what the right setup for me is, and now that i have (FINALLY!!!) found my favorite juices-that was the hardest part. now that i've done that, i am happy to say i won't go analog ever again. i'm straight vapin' from here on in! there is no way possible that inhaling vg/pg based flavored liquid is anywhere nearly as harmful as inhaling freakin' smoke! but there are probably some health risks that should be taken into consideration. it's most likely the healthiest choice to use your lungs for anything but oxygen...but so be it.

welcome to the forum. mad love showin' here for you!
